The setting is the Training Warehouse, except this time we've added a new element to the mix. You and you team will need to work closely to secure the two hostages we've placed in the scenario, you can expect moderate Resistance. Show me what you've got. Team: L. Look through the door infront of the starting point and press the A Button to send the team on a move to order. Follow them through the door. Go through the door on the right, then issue a door order for the door on the left side of this room. Look at the door and pres the A button they will open and clear the door, follow them. Once entering this room look to the left and there is a bomb, press the A button to have the team deactivate it. Turn around and look opposite the bomb, focus on the door. Press and hold the A Button and Issue an Open, Flash, and Clear order. Go into this room focus on the hostage and have the team secure him. Behind the hostage is two doors, look at the door on the right, press and hold the A Button, press the Right Trigger, issue an Open, Flash, and Clear on Zulu order. Stand by the left door press the White Button to initiate the Zulu Code then immediately press the A button to open your door. In this room look at the door, press and hold the A Button, Press the Right Trigger, and issue a Breach and Clear on Zulu Order. Go to the other door, press the White Button to issue the order, then the A Button to open the door infront of you. Secure the other hostage in this room. Nicely Done. It's good to have your team back and fully operational. You're just in time, too. We're going to need you in the next few months. Terrorists have started hitting Venezuelan Targets Worldwide, and while we haven't been requested yet, I have a feeling that's about to change. Throw in the fact that the general situation out there is getting nastier because of a dispute between the US and OPEC, and I think it's safe to say there'll be work for your team very soon. --------------------------------------------------------------- 5.2) (Mission 1) Alpine Village: Secure Venezuelan G8 Delegates --------------------------------------------------------------- Switzerland Let's get right down to business. We have a hostage situation in Switzerland. It seems that an unknown group of Terrorists have attacked the G8 Economic meeting early this morning, and things have escalated to a level where the Swiss government is formally requesting our help. The Terrorists took members of the Venezuelan Delegation Hostage in the village near the conference and are demanding that Venezuela stop selling oil to the US in exchange for their release. Obviously both the Venezuelan and American governments are a little upset over this, especially since the Terrorists took the Venezuelans hostage and let the other delegates go. The Reports the local Police have given us indicate that the Terrorists are neither well organized, nor armed. The one thing they do have in their favor is numbers. You're going to be facing roughly three to one odds when you go in, but I expect your training and skill to make the difference here. Take them out quickly - It's the only chance the Hostages have. Continue forward and go to the left of the building infront of you, continue following this path and it will lead you to an area that has a truck and some fruit stands in it, go between the truck and the stands and make a right through the door. Go into the room, make a left, go up the ladder in this room, and through the door to the next room. In this room make a left and go through the door, kill all the enemies in this area, go down the steps and take out the person at the bottom. Make a right and another right to go down the next set of steps. Get to the bottom and exit through the door on the left. Go all the way to the end of this alleyway, make a right, then another right through the fence, make an immediate left and go through the door on the right. Go through the door directly infront of you and make a left. Kill all the tango's in the church and secure the hostage. Go through the door on the right side of where the hostage is and make an immediate right through the door case in the wall. Go down this hallway and through the second door on your right, continue forward between some bookcases and make a left and another left down some steps. At the bottom of the steps go right, right, left, left, straight, left, right, continue, forward, kill all the tango's and secure the final hostage. Both the Venezuelan and American Governments are extremely pleased with your performance. They've also got a lot of questions over who was behind this operation. It's no secret that ever since OPEC slapped that oil embargo in place, tensions between the US/Venezuela Alliance and the rest of the OPEC nations have been running a little high. Intel is speculating that someone with ties to another OPEC nation might be behind this, but as of now we've got no hard evidence one way or the other. ------------------------------------------------------------------ 5.3) (Mission 2) Mountain Highway: Defuse Bomb and Secure Hostages ------------------------------------------------------------------ Switzerland Keep your gear on, because I'm going to have to throw you right back into the field. It looks like a few terrorists escaped from the village before the Swiss managed to get their perimeter in place. Luckily, they didn't do a good job of running, seventy clicks northeast of the village, they wiped out in a tunnel and took a few other cars with them. Now they're holed up inside the tunnel itself and have wired and overturned fuel truck with explosives. If the police go in, they blow the turck. They've also taken a pair of hostages, and are threatening to kill them if they don't ger a ransom and a one-way ticket out of the country. Your objectives, Domingo, are simple. The Swiss police will maintain a perimeter on the tunnel. You and your team are to enter the site, secure the hostages, and make sure that fuel truck doesn't get torched. Good luck. Team: L. Loiselle -Primary: AUG (5.56MM) -Secondary: 92FS (9MM) -Item 1: Breaching Charge -Item 2: Flashbang Grenade E. Turn on your nightvision to give you a slight advantage, after passing a curve left in the path you will see the tunnel. There is one enemy at the tunnel entrance, there is one in the upper level of the building to the left, and as you start getting closer two will run out of the open garage door. Enter the tunnel and immediately you will see the flipped truck with the bomb on it, diffuse it, as you diffuse it two enemies will come from the door directly to the left, and one more enemy will come from the door to the left, but much further down the tunnel. From the truck run forward, and make a U-turn up some steps. Go though the door and then make a right through the next door. Once through the door make a right and go down this hallway. Make a left through an open door and you will be in a garage with two Tango's, kill them and go through the door on the opposite side of where you entered. After passing through the door go left, and make a right through the door in that area. Go up the steps, but be careful, there is an enemy at the top. At the top of the steps go through the door on the right. In this next room go through the door on the right, then go through the door on the left. Walk down this hallway and give your team an Open, Flash, and Clear on Zulu order at the second door on the right. Go back to where you entered, and go through the first door on your right. Position yourself at the door on the left, give your team the order to go, open the door infront of you and kill the enemy behind the desk. Exit this room by way of the doors your team came in and make a left, go through the first door on your right, kill the enemy in this room. Exit through the door on the other side and make a left. Go down this hallway and make a left at the end, go down the steps and through the doors on the right. Kill all the enemies down on the lower level and continue through the door on the opposite side. Go straight and through the door on the left, down the stairs, through the door at the bottom. Cross through this room and go through the door on the opposite side. Make a left and go all the way down this hallway and make a left through the door. Clear out the enemies here and secure the hostage in this room. Go forward through the door with the van that has the lights on, make a right through the door and then a left down the hallway, and through the doors to the left at the end. Make a right through the double doors in this next room. Take out the Tango's in this room and make a right through the door at the end. Head left down the hallway, make a right through the door, down this hallway and through the door on the left. Make a right and work your way down the tunnel through the cars killing all the Tango's you come on. At the end secure the hostage. Nice work, Domingo. I'd say this is a nice, neat wrap-up to a potentially messy operation. You and your team did a good job. By the way, the Swiss authorities are especially pleased with the lack of structural damage to the tunnel. We're still working on identifying the Terrorists, but so far, Intel is drawing a blank. What we do know is that we weren't dealing with real professionals here. That bomb was homemade, and some of their weapons weren't top of the line, either. When we find out more, I'll let you know. -------------------------------------------------------------- 5.4) (Mission 3) Oil Refinery: Defuse bombs and secure hostage -------------------------------------------------------------- Curacao, Dutch Caribbean You're hading to Curacao, but it's not for vacation. We've got an oil refinery in hostile hands, and the Terrorists inside are threatening to detonate the bombs they've placed around the site unless their demands are met. They're asking for the same thing the amateurs in Switzerland wanted: an end to Venezuelan oil shipmants to the US. That's enough to make intel think that we're dealing with another branch of the same organization here. Just to make things even more fun, they've got a hostage, the Refinery's Facilities Director. The Terrorists have laready said he'll be shot immediately if anyone comes in after them, so you have your work cut out for you. Go in silent and go in fast, and I'll see you when your done. Team: L. Just to the right of there barrel is a set of steps, go down them and through the door on the right. Run up the set of steps in this room, and to the left is a group of enemies, kill them. From the top of the steps veer slightly to the left past some blue containers with rusted lids, on the right side of that wall is a door with a no smoking sign, go through it. Go through the open door in this room, and slowly ascend the steps, there is an enemy that will come and shoot from the upper windows when he hears you. Go through the door and into the next room, kill the Tango's in here, go through the first open door on your right, from there go right, left, left, straight and through the door, kill the two tangos in this room, go through the door on the left, make a left and you will see a bomb, diffuse it, but be careful as you are diffusing it a Tango will come in from the door opposite of where you entered the bomb area. Go through that door and down the steps and through the door at the bottom. Clear this whole area of enemies, but open no closed doors yet. After killing the enemies go back to where you entered. From the door go right, and make a U-Turn left make a left at the end of the hallway and you will see a closed door on the left, give your team an Open, Flash, and Clear on Zulu order. From the door turn around and go through the open door on your left. Go around the machinery and make a left, you will see a small set of steps, go up it and wait at the door. Give your team the go on the Zulu code and then bust open your door and start shooting anything that moves. Clear out the Tango's and diffuse the bomb in this room. Go up the steps just to the left of the bomb, make a right and go down the hallway make a left, down a small ramp and through an open door. Go up the steps in this next area, there is a Tango up on the top of the roof that will shoot at you so be ready. At the top go through the door and kill the Tango's in this room exit through the only other door in this room. Go left than make a right go through the door on your right and silently sneak down this path hugging the wall on the right, at the door give your team an Open, Flash, and Clear on Zulu. Walk slowly back to where you entered this area, from there go right, then left, get up to the door, give your team the go on the Zulu code and open your door and clear out the Tango's. Run straight from the door you entered and there is a closed door to the left in a niche on the far side of the room, go through it. Kill the Tango's here and make a left, then a right go through the door, but be careful there are plenty of Tango's in here. After killing them go down the first set of steps, make a right, and another right, go down the second set of steps and through the door in front of you. Make a right, a left, and a right through the doors. Be super careful in here this area is also infested with enemies, one enemy has a rocket launcher so be safe. Kill all the enemies in here, a garage door will open to your left with the hostage in it, secure him and thats that. We've got official confirmation from Intel: The men you just dealt with are affiliated with your playmates from Switzerland. The weapons used in both attacks were traced to an Egyptian weapons shipment that was supposedly lost off the Syrian Coast six weeks ago. The Egyptians are swearing up and down that they have no idea what happened to it, and Intel believes them. But the Serial Numbers on the weapons match up, an that means that the men we're facing are part of a bigger organization than we thought. --------------------------------------------------------- 5.5) (Mission 4) Island Estate: Rescue PDVSA CEO and wife --------------------------------------------------------- Island of Curacao, Dutch Carribean We've got more trouble in paradise, Domingo. When the refinery operation went sour, our terrorists went to plan B. They're holding the CEO of the Venezuelan State owned Oil Company and his wife hostage. The Terrorists are asking for a huge ranom for the Hostages' safe return. Psych thinks they have no intention of executing the captives - they're too valuable - but we can't count on that, and we all know that accidents happen in this sort of situation. Sending in a full team might panic the terrorists into doing something stupid, and we can't risk that. Therefore, Domingo, this time it's just you and Weber. Go in fast neutralize the Hostage-Takers, and get the hostages out of there in one piece. Team: D. Weber -Primary: MP5A4 (9MM) -Secondary: (92FS (9MM) -Item 1: Flashbang Grenade -Item 2: Breaching Charge Recommended Gear: -Primary: G3A3 (7.62MM) -Secondary: MK23 (.45CAL) -Item 1: Tear Gas Grenade -Item 2: Gas Mask From the start run forward and make a left, run up the three sets of steps and continue up another set of two. Look to your right you will see a door with horizontal slats on it, open the door and kill the Tango shooting at you from behind the island in the kitchen. From the door you entered go right, through the door casing, and left down the single step and right down the small set of steps. Run forward in this room you will see a hallway exiting from the central part of this room, follow it left, there is one guard that is patrolling the hallways and two Tango's will come out of the doors on the right, one Tango for each room, after taking out those three Tango's go down the hallway and you will see that it goes up a set of steps to the right be extremely careful as you get close to the steps on of the three Tango's up in this area will throw a grenade at you. One Tango will be right at the top of the steps hiding behind the wall on the left, another tango will be in the hallway to the right of the steps, the hallway behind the rail with the cloth looking material attatched to it, and the final one will be in either the first or second room to the left. From the top of the steps go down the hallway to your right, at the end of the hallway make a right, open the door and immediately look left firing your gun all out, one Tango will do a jump and roll from this area to avoid your bullets and warn others, if you could not get him before he got away, it is not a big deal, it is just one more Tango to deal with. From the door go left and hide at the end of the wall to your right in this section peek around it and take out the Tango's. Continue down this hallway, go right, up some steps and through a set of double doors. You will see two different doors on the wall opposite where you entered have your team member take one door with an Open, Flash and Clear on Zulu order, you take the other door and give the Zulu go code, open your door and kill the Tango's in here, be careful a hostage is in this room also. Speak to the hostage in this room and she will follow you, watch the double doors you used to enter this area though a Tango will come running at you shooting from there. Exit by way of the double doors you entered from. Go down the steps, and left down the ledge, but slowly walk backwards down it and look down and to the left you will see a Tango that would have assaulted you if you just ran down there, kill him and run forward down a set of steps. Kill the Tango in the room off to the left in this area, go through the door, throw a Tear Gas Grenade and shoot the enemies that come at you through the two doors on the left of where you entered. Go through the left hand door and shoot the Tango hiding behind the half wall. Go through the horizontally slotted door directly in front of you. Kill the Tango's in here but be careful one might throw a grenade at you. After killing them exit by was of the other door in this hallway. The last hostage is hiding in the right hand corner of this area, his wife will go over to them, and you and your team member will have to fend off the Tango's that will attack you from the ground level and balcony level to the left of the door where you entered. Hold them off until your helicopter arrives and mission complete. We're seeing some dangerous patterns forming with these attacks. They're organized, and they've got a definite goal. If these Terrorist attacks cause Venezuela to stop shipping oil to the US, then things are going to get very interesting, of course, that's exactly what the rest of OPEC wants, which means that we're going to see some rising tensions with the Saudis as well. I don't like this one bit. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 5.6) (Mission 5) Shipyard: Diffuse bombs placed throughout the shipyard ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Puerto Cabello, Venezuela The Puerto Cabello shipyard is the largest one in Venezuela, and it's currently engaged in building tankers for the country's national oil company. It only makes sense that it would be a tempting target for the terrorists we've been dealing with since Switzerland. Wreck the shipyard and you cripple Venezuela's ability to export oil for years to come. What we have in front of us right now is the worst-case scenario. Terrorists took control of the shipyard six hours ago, and have rigged the entire site with massive explosive charges. If their ransom demands aren't met, they'll level the entire facility. Intel suspects that even if the terrorists get what they want, the shipyard's going to have an 'accident', so you and your team get to provide an alternative solution. Your mission is simple: regain control of the facility and secure all of the explosives. Expect heavy resistance, as this is the sort of prize the terrorists aren't likely to give up without a fight. Use your G3A3 to target him, but switch guns and shoot him with your MK23, kill him fast before he can shoot back. Face the crate and lean right just enough so you can see, wait there and a Tango will walk through, shoot him in the head. Run across to the white truck and stop behind the light pole, make a right, walk to the end of this area, but make sure to hug the crates on the right so the enemy above will not see you. At the end climb the ladder on the left. With your MK23 creep over to the end and shoot the Tangos at the bottom directly in front of you in the head. Now look to the left and shoot the barrel on the ground, it will explode and kill the others. Go back down the ladder, this time put your back to the crates on the side of the ladder and walk to the right, you will see a Tango up on one of the crates shoot him. Alright thats enough of the stealth stuff, this is not Splinter Cell, have your team come back to you, and run into the open area that you shot the exploding barrel. Go through the open garage door you see, you will see a normal door at the other end, go through it. Immediately make a right and go through the door, whatever you do, do not go straight towards the window in this area, there is a sniper watching the window and he will take you out in usually one shot. Go down this short hallway and open the door, kill the Tango at the bottom of the steps, then go up the steps, at the top go through the door at the left and get ready for a fight, run through this area killing any Tango's that attack you. From where you entered go straight all the way to the end and through the door, then go left, climb the ladder to your right walk over to the edge and send your team to diffuse the bomb at the bottom cover them from above Tango's will be coming at them. After the bomb is diffused go back down the ladder and back to where you entered, from where you entered you will see a set of steps leading down, go down them. Make a left, a left, a right, a right, down the steps, a left, a left, down the steps and through the door. Go left, then right, give your team an Open, Flash, and Clear on Zulu order, go left and you will see an open door, wait a bit away from it, give your team the Zulu go, then storm in killing all the Tango's. Have your team diffuse the bomb, but watch above you as they do it some parts of the ceiling will open up and Tango's will shoot at you from above. Go back to the door you used to enter this room and go right through the previously locked door. Blow up all the explosive barrels in this room and have your team wait at the submarine looking door to the right of where you enter. Run down the hallway to the left and the doors will open, some Tango's will attack you from behind and from in front. Run down this hall and take the first left and go down the set of stairs. Make a right and go through the door, take out the abundance of Tango's here a counter will display for one minute and thirty seconds. From where you entered run straight and go right. Go straight through the next area, then go right and diffuse the bomb to the left. Mission over. The stakes got a lot higher as soon as the threat hit Venezuelan soil. Their economy's already soft, and oil exports are the only thing propping it up right now. Any interference with those exports could cause a crisis, and in the meantime Washington is screaming blue murder about the latest outbreak of terrorist activity. Things are heating up out there and we still aren't any closer to putting these guys out of business. I'm telling you, Domingo, I have a nasty feeling that the situation's going to get worse - a lot worse - before it gets better. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 5.7) (Mission 6) Crespo Foundation: Secure Hostages and Protect Records ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Montreal, Quebec, Canada From their communications with the Quebecois Authorities, the Terrorists? Real objective was Juan Crespo himself. It appears that his Anti-Terrorism and Pro-US sentiments have put him on our friends? short list. Now for the bad news. Although they failed to get Crespo, the Terrorists did manage to take over the Crespo Foundation Headquarters in Montreal and take several members of the Board of Directors hostage. They?re demanding either an insane ransom or Juan Crespo?s head in return for their hostages. Obviously they?re not getting either, so I need you to take your team in and neutralize those Tangos. A Tango will run away, shoot him before he gets away from you. Go into the first door on the right and kill the Tango, go back to where you entered this hallway, take the first set of double doors on your right, kill all the Tangos in this area, exit through the first and only set of doors you come to and make a right. Down this hallway, make a right into a small area, then left through the door, you will be in a small room, continue forward through the next door. Kill all the Tangos here and exit through the doors on the left, you will come to an elevator, go left down the hallway near it. Make a right and go through the double doors, use some hide and seek tactics to clear out this room of Tangos. Once it is clear go the right side of the room and you will find double doors, to through them. From here go left, and left passing through a sitting area, go through the double doors at the end, there is a Tango in this area, so be careful, go to the second floor, you can not reach the third it is barricaded, on the second floor go down the hallway, through the door on your right, clear it of Tangos and exit through the other door making a right. Make another right, then a left through the door you see, assault this room from both points and secure the hostage. From the hostage go straight and through the double doors down this hallway and make a right into this area, clear the whole place out. From where you entered, go forward and make a left at the four way intersection, go through the door, slightly to the right and up the steps. Go through the double doors at the top kill the enemies in here, make a right, and a right through the door, clear this area, circle around and from the opposite exit go right, go through the second door to your right and kill the Tango in the bathroom, exit and continue the way you were going. Head through the double doors at the end and clear this room of Tangos. Exit through the opposite door and make a left, give your team an Open, Flash and Clear on Zulu order at the door to the left and run back to the top of the steps. Stand by the double doors in front of the steps, give your team the Zulu go code and open your door firing, there are some Tangos up on the upper level so get them and keep the hostage safe. Secure the hostage once all the Tangos are down and exit through the door your team used to enter, go left through the newly opened doors, make a left, go down this hallway and through the double doors, up the steps and through the double doors at the top. Go to the end of this hallway, make a right, go through the double doors, clear out the room, and exit through the other double doors, clear out the room and that is it. The US State Department just passed us a message through channels. It reads, ‘The future President of Venezuela wants to personally thank the agency responsible for putting an end to the terrorist crisis in Montreal.’ It’s polite of him, but we have bigger fish to fry. There were two car bombings in the Middle East this morning, and it looks like there’s a Saudi Arabian connection. The Saudis are claiming they’re clean, and tempers are getting hot. If people aren’t careful, this could turn into a shooting war, real fast. Closer to home one of the Terrorists you brought in cut himself a deal after a couple of hours talking to Psych. Unfortunately, he didn’t know much in the way of operational details. All our prisoner had was this: there’s something big planned on US soil, and it’s coming soon. It’s clear that these goons have good internal security in place and that means they’re more professional than they’ve shown so far. Both of these things worry me. ---------------------------------------------- 5.8) (Mission 7) Old City: Rescue The Informer ---------------------------------------------- Dubrovnik, Croatia This operation is extremely time-sensitive. Let me explain, and you'll see What I'm talking about here. One of our best informants, a man who's tapped into a half-dozen terrorist networks throughout the world, sent a message three days ago that he had extremely important information concerning the Venezuela situation. He also said that he was quite certain that if we didn't reel him in quickly, he'd be killed. Bring our fish in, Domingo. We need this man's information desperately, and we can't afford to let him be killed. This may be the key to the whole operation - if you can get him out alive. Team: E. Price -Primary: L85A1 (5.56MM) -Secondary: 92FS (9MM) -Item 1: Flashbang Grenade -Item 2: Breaching Charge Recommended Gear: -Primary: G3A3 (7.62MM) -Secondary: MK23 (.45CAL) -Item 1: Flashbang Grenade -Item 2: Frag Grenade From the start run forward, make a left, crouch down and go under the archway hugging the left-hand wall, shoot the Tango at the bottom with your silenced gun. Run down into this area and shoot the Tangos use whatever cover you can. Once they are all dead go right and down the steps kill the Tangos at the bottom and go left, head all the way to the end and go up the steps, and into this room. Run down the other set of steps you see and make a left through the door at the bottom, in this area go right and follow the path, you will come to a slightly open area, go right and you will find the exit, it is another tight alleyway. The alley will immediately curve left, go through the first door on the left-hand side that you see. In this building go right, all the way to the end, left, through the door on the right, left, left, right, through the door on the left, open the door to your left and kill all the enemies in the courtyard. From the door you used to enter this area go right, all the way to the end and right through the door. Go straight through the door casing and make a right and go up the stairs to your left. Clear out the room at the top and from where you entered go straight, through the door, make a left, go all the way to the end, make another left, up the steps and through the door. Go straight, make a left, and give an Open, Flash and clear order on this door, the informant is inside and needs to stay alive. Secure him and that is mission over. Excellent work. You handled that one perfectly. Now let me tell you what our informant told Intel. The first name he gave up was Emilio Vargas. If that sound's familiar, it's because he's Juan Crespo's right-hand man and confidante. Apparently Vargas is dirtier than an old dishrag. He's got some suspicious-looking financial ties to some Middle Eastern organizations that Intel's looking into, and he also was apparently behind the smash-and-grab in Boston. The papers that were taken out of the basement vault were records of financial transactions that would have blown the lid off this thing. As of now, we're not really sure what fame he's playing. We do know that he's close to Crespo, and that Crespo's probably going to be the next president of Venezuela. That means he's worth keeping a very close eye on. ------------------------------------------------------------ 5.9) (Mission 8) Alcatraz: Rescue tour guide and Juan Crespo ------------------------------------------------------------ San Francisco, CA, USA We've trained you how to break out of any number of prisons, Domingo, but this may be the first time you have to sneak into one. Our friend Juan Crespo was in San Francisco conducting some business and wanted to take the VIP tour of Alcatraz while he was there. Unfortunately, it looks like someone else had a Copy of his itinerary. Someone hit his party mid-tour. They took out the bodyguards fast, but Crespo's being held for ransom, along with a tour guide, somewhere in the prison complex. I recommend that you take your team into the prison from below using the old sewer tunnel system. Intel is working on pinpointing Crespo's exact location, but there's no time to lose. If Crespo is killed, the repercussions will be huge and unpleasant. Team: L. Loiselle -Primary: FAMAS G2 (5.56MM) -Secondary: 92FS (9MM) -Item 1: Breaching Charge -Item 2: Flashbang Grenade E. From where you entered go through the door on the right and make a left, at the end of this area is a door on the left, go through it, go through the next door you see and up the steps, go left and left, head all the way to the end and make a right, and another right, go down this path. Make a left and another left down the steps, go right and all the way down this path, go through the last door on the left and secure the hostage. Exit this door, go left, left, through the door on your right, down the steps, left, down the steps, and through the door. Make a right, go up the next set of steps, through the door at the top, go left all the way to the end make a left, and a left through the door, down the steps, left down the steps and go straight through the double doors. Make a right and a left, go through the double doors, clear out the room and secure Juan Crespo. I just finished debriefing Crespo. He has nothing but good things to say about Vargas. Oddly enough, he has no idea where Vargas is right now, and is as curious as we are about that fact. Intel is already working on the paper trail, and as soon as we find a likely location, you and your men will be going in. ----------------------------------------------------------------- 5.10) (Mission 9) Import/Export: Secure evidence on Emilio Vargas ----------------------------------------------------------------- Caracas, Venezuela Intel took a long look into Emilio Vargas' banking practices and found all sorts of interesting things. He's got links to a handful of terrorist slush funds in the Middle East, for one thing. That's what Boston was about, by the way - the records in the basement were a red flag as to what was really going down. That being said, we need more first-hand information, and Intel's pinpointed what they think is a good place to get it. I need you and your team to go into an import/export firm owned by Vargas and secure the site's contents so Intel can see what's going on. Odds are that the people running the company aren't going to take your visit well, so be prepared to defend yourself if you meet resistance. Team: L. Run down this hallway and make a left, a right, and a right through the door and down the steps. At the bottom of the steps exit through the door on the right, kill the Tangos and go straight through the doors. Go through the door on the left to exit, make a right and then a left you will see some steps behind an outset wall, go up them and left into the area, clear out the enemies here and mission over. Congratulations. You've got Intel more excited than a kid on his first date. We expected to find weapons and incriminating records in that warehouse, but The chemical barrels were a surprise. I've got the lab doing a full spectrum of tests on them now. We need to know what they're holding and what it was going to be used for. It's time we got a little close to Vargas, to find out what he's up to. ------------------------------------------------------------ 5.11) (Mission 10) Penthouse: Bug the telephone and computer ------------------------------------------------------------ Caracas, Venezuela Vargas has probably heard about the import/export company by now, and if he's got half a brain in his head he's not going to come home. I'm gambling that he's going to want to talk to somebody there, though, and that's where you come in, Domingo. This one's a solo mission and you're going in with only a pistol. You need to get in, bug the place, and get out. We need to hear what Vargas is saying and we need to see what he's been doing on his computer. Once we have that, we can turn this thing around. Recommended Gear: -Primary: None -Secondary: MK23 (.45CAL) -Item 1: Tear Gas Grenade -Item 2: Gas Mask Go through this door, make a left, and a left, go through the double doors. Now if you are seen once by anyone or fire at anyone mission over, so this will be a little tough, plan out every move and execute. Open the double glass doors in front of you, hug the left hand wall and at the intersection make a right, stand back against the right hand wall and slowly walk forward, a Tango will be in this room watching a soccer game, crouch down and sneak behind him to the left, head up the steps to the kitchen then make a u-turn to the left and up this set of steps, go through the open door and you will see the telephone to your right, bug it. Open the other door in this room once the guard is away from it. Watch the guard on your map, make sure he is away from you. Head straight down this hallway and make a right at the end then immediately a left, and a left up the steps. At the top make a left down this hallway, make sure the guard is not in this room large room, there will be one in the small room, but that is not a problem, make another left into the large room, then a right over to the computer behind the privacy wall, hack into it. Good news you can use your gun now. Kill any Tangos that come at you and exit down the steps you used to enter, go through the glass door in front of you at the bottom and shoot the man standing up in this room, the man sitting down is the one you need to escort out. Talk to him and go left from this rooms exit, go down the steps and run across this room, exit through the door on the right, make a left, go through the double glass doors, through the double wood doors, make a right, and a right through the door all the way up the steps out the door on top and to the far right corner of this roof. Things are getting uglier everywhere, but that accountant you rescued gives us a little hope. He's been giving us everything we want on Vargas and more, and he's already tipped us off to a potential storage site for more nerve gas ingredients. You heard me right - the barrels in the warehouse were full of a precursor for VX Gas, which is not something we want Vargas to get his hands on, and with relations between the US and the Saudis already getting worse by the minute, the last thing we need is a nerve gas attack. It would be too easy for someone to use that as a way to tip this thing into war. ---------------------------------------------------------- 5.12) (Mission 11) Meat Packing Plant: Recover nerve agent ---------------------------------------------------------- Caracas, Venezuela Vargas' accountant has been a big help. The first thing he did was finger a meat packing plant his former boss owned as another storage site for material for the nerve gas. He's currently talking to Intel about a few other things, but it's the VX that concerns us Domingo. You and your team are going to be dropped by chopper about a half mile away, so you'll be inserting on foot. There are civilians in the plant, so threat this as a potential hostage situation. Good luck. Team: L. Loiselle -Primary: M4 (5.56MM) -Secondary: 92FS (9MM) -Item 1: Breaching Charge -Item 2: Flashbang Grenade E. Make a right and go through the first door on your right, kill the Tangos here then go straight from the door you used to enter all the way to the end and make a left and a left going through the door. Make a right, then a right through the double doors. Exit through the door on the left of this room and make a left. Clear this room of Tangos and go up the steps to the left go through the door and secure the hostage. Exit through the door you used to enter and make a right through the plastic streamers and through the door. Go right, right, left, under the half open garage door and clear this room of Tangos. Go through the door on the left, make a right, a right, go through the double doors, from that door head left through the opening and up the steps to the right. Make a right, go down the path, pick the lock on the door on the left, go through it, go left, then through the first door on the right, and through the other door in this room, kill the Tangos here and secure the hostage. Go down the steps behind the hostage, make a right down the steps, go right all the way to the end and through the open garage door. To your right will be a Tango, kill him, go through the doors on the left. Clear this area and exit through the door on the left side, make a right and go straight, go through the door on the right and clear the room, and on the far side of this room to the left are the chemicals. Good work. You handled that perfectly. The skinny on the situation is this: we've got most of their stockpile but it's clear from the records you confiscated that some of the VX is already on its way to the United States. The stuff dissolves easily in organic solvents, so finding it is going to be a real bear. Intel's already looking for that, and for Vargas. I have a feeling that when we find one, we'll find the other. ------------------------------------------------ 5.13) (Mission 12) Garage: Capture Emilio Vargas ------------------------------------------------ New Orleans, LA, USA US Customs found Vargas for us a few hours ago. Though they didn't manage to contain him, he was on board a cargo ship that docked in New Orleans early this morning and immediately started offloading its load - automobiles. Intel's convinced that the cars are the key to the VX. They may be right – Customs put a tail on Vargas and tracked him to a garage in the city. Now it's time for you to go dig him out. Be very careful on this one, Domingo. VX is vicious stuff. Team: L. At the top go left, then right through the double doors and straight through the door, make a left, a left and go down the stairs. At the bottom of the steps go right, through the doors, left and left through the door. Go right through the door, kill the Tangos, then go straight through the door on the opposite side. Go left and chase Vargas, he will lead you all the way through, shoot any Tangos you can, but otherwise ignore them, chase Vargas. When you catch him secure him and mission over. Get ready, Domingo. We're going to need to move fast. This thing doesn't end with Vargas. He's claiming that Crespo is the one behind all of this, and that he's in cahoots with a Saudi dissident who wants to use the oil crisis as a way to grab power. Crespo's plan was to use the oil issue to become president of Venezuela, then do an about-face and cut off the US oil supply. He'd keep selling it, or course, but on the black market so he could rake in the huge personal profit. Meanwhile, he'd work with his mysterious friend to mount terrorist attacks against the United States and let the Saudis take the blame for it. When the US stepped in, Crespo's friend would take over in Riyadh. It's nasty and it's clever, and we don't have much time to stop it. Vargas told us what the VX is for. They shipped it in by hiding it in the radiators of those cars, then pumped it out and took it downtown. If we don't stop Crespo's men, they're going to turn it loose on the Mardi Gras parade, and we're going to have tens of thousands of casualties. ----------------------------------------------- 5.14) (Mission 13) Parade: Defuse chemical bomb ----------------------------------------------- New Orleans, LA, USA We have more details on what Crespo is intending to do with the VX. He's managed to conceal a concussion device strapped to the VX canisters on one of the parade floats. At a pre-determined time during the parade, he's going to detonate the bomb and disperse the gas throughout the city. Failure is simply not an option, Domingo. I need you to find that bomb and defuse it fore this city gets turned into a graveyard. There's no one I trust more. Go to it. Team: L. Go left, right, right and down the steps, kill the Tango and through the door at the bottom. Go to the ‘X’ on your map and disable the bomb. You have five minutes, from the bomb go right through the opening, go left, right, out from behind the bar, straight, right, through the billiards room, left, up the steps. Go right, left, left, right, straight, then right up the steps, go left, right, right into the room and use the computer. Today, you were a hero. We have the VX and New Orleans is safe. You cold not have done better, and to go with your good work, it looks like the tensions are easing between the US and Saudi Arabia. It looks like Crespo's friend is out of luck, too. Now all you have to do is take care of the source of the problem. It's time to find Crespo and tie this while thing up, once and for all. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5.15) (Mission 14) Airport: Plant explosives in crate and neutralize Crespo --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Caracas, Venezuela Crespo's been located, and according to Intel, he's got a last reservoir of VW with him. It's in solution for transport, but that just means it's not immediately dangerous. The facts of the matter are that Crespo and the VX both need to be dealt with. At this point, it doesn't look like arresting him is an option. He's going to be trying to escape in a small aircraft from a private field outside Caracas. Domingo, I'm sending just you in. Don't let him – or that nerve gas - get away. Recommended Gear: -Primary: G3A3 (7.62MM) -Secondary: MK23 (.45CAL) -Item 1: Flashbang Grenade -Item 2: Frag Grenade In this mission you can not be spotted, so be careful and know where your enemies area at all times. Open the door in front of you, then step over to the right side staying inside your room and watch the door next to the privacy glass, make sure you are fairly hidden, when the guard opens that door to go in, that is your chance, exit your room and go right. Down this path, then go left down the hallway and through the door. Go partly up the first flight of stairs and stop at the all that juts out, peek around with your thermal vision and when the door opens run all the way back to the bottom of the steps. At the bottom, wait there until you hear the extremely loud door shut, wait until after you have heard two, or about twenty five seconds, but this can vary, listening to the doors is about the only way to do it. Run up to the top and go through the door he did, go left and out onto a balcony, sneak over to the left side of this area. Watch the guard at the bottom, when he is out of view sneak behind the ‘Full Fuel’ truck, then down the ladder, follow him behind the truck, and you should see a hideous looking van with the back doors open, that is your target, go drop a bomb in the package, now you can shoot anyone. Go to the side of the lower level where the ladder was, near it is a door, go in, go straight, right, then left, clear out the Tangos then go right, then right into a garage. Go into the back room of the garage and open the door, in the next area just chase Crespo. It's over. Be proud, be damned proud. You did good work - better than anyone will ever know. Remember that, and hold your head high. The world owes you one. That is it your done. If you played through on Recruit try another difficulty if you are looking for more of a challenge. ============================= 6) Frequently Asked Questions ============================= (None as of now) ================= 7) Special Thanks ================= www.nboxgamer.com Microsoft XBox Red Storm Entertainment Ubisoft
