See my Expert FAQ or Secrets FAQ for details on it. Version 0.4 12/12/99: I found out that move with Raekwon someone asked me about. Check out the move list section to see it. It's a standing move. For more information how to execute that move, check out the 'Move Analysis' section. I was also asked another question by some people about my high scores and stuff. Check that out in the Frequently Asked Questions section. It seems I'm not getting any mail relating to stuff I need, I just get people asking me for the Parental Lockout Code, secrets, or telling me how excellent I have done with these FAQs, even telling me things that are already in my FAQs as well. Version 0.3 12/01/99: Took out the 'Raekwon VS. CPU & Person Guide' section and replaced it with 'Using Raekwon & Against Raekwon'. Version 0.25 11/24/99: I added some stuff to the Basics section. Please read the Frequently Asked Questions section, I'm getting sick of getting mail asking for the Parental Lockout Code. Also read the Basics section, I'm getting sick of getting mail asking how to do something that's in the Basics section. I added one move to Raekwon's move list, but I still need one more move. I haven't received any mail suggesting strategies like I asked in the Raekwon VS. CPU & Person Guide section. I'm still waiting. If not, then I'm going to have to do it myself, but I know people are going to complain saying various things. Version 0.2 11/22/99: Changed the format back of the command buttons to letters, not buttons like in the first version. I've done that for every game I've made a FAQ for, not using the buttons since the buttons can be changed, but I did not do that this time, I don't remember why, I think it might be because it's a fighting game or something. Version 0.15 11/21/99: Fixed the format a bit, added some stuff. Version 0.1 11/21/99: I put back the Move Analysis section I took out temporarily, and I took out a juggle, I have tons of more, and a lot of of them are really good that take off a lot of power. I have one that takes off 90%, but I'm not going to tell the world, it's my secret. One that was better than pretty good was in the first version. If you got it, well, you can use it if you want, but if you complain, too bad. It takes quite some kill to do it. Oh yes, I also added another move, "Parry Low," and added a miscellaneous stuff part in the Basics section. I wouldn't appreciate it if someone goes and makes a FAQ for this game and just takes some of my stuff without my permission or even fakes that I allowed them to use my stuff. Now, I wouldn't have much proof if you blatantly stole it from me unless you plagiarised, but if you're going to do that, at least ask me. If the format is too similar to mine, I'll have some proof there. Don't be one of those cheaters in life who try to make it easy for themselves by taking things and whatnot. Hope you actually pay attention to this. Version 0.05 11/20/99: First version ________________________________________________________________________ Part 2: What's Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style? (General Details) ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Now, I don't know everything about this game, or even individual characters. If you want to know, I'm still trying to find out all of Raekwon's moves, I'm missing quite a few. If you want to help with it, then just E-mail me. Okay, this game is a [up to] four-player fighting game. It's based on the fighting engine of Thrill Kill, which was being made quite a while back. Each character has their own unique strengths and weaknesses. There are a lot of secrets to get, and to get those secrets, you have to play through the Story Mode with every single character and get all of the Chambers (36 of them). This guide is just for one character: Raekwon. ________________________________________________________________________ Part 3: Legend ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Controls: UL U UR Up-Left Up Up-Right \ | / L -- N -- R Left Neutral Right / | \ DL D DR Down-Left Down Down-Right CR Crouch BL Block P1 Punch 1 P2 Punch 2 X Kick 1 O Kick 2 F Forward D Down B Back U Up Dash tap in any direction twice (F, D, B, or U) @ unofficial name (I made it up) # then (move on to different move, same as -->) ODB Ol' Dirty Bastard (the character) OTG Off the ground [] Square (or Box, as some people call it) /\ Triangle rA Rising Attack: a rising attack is an attack done when rising from crouch (check out the Basics section for more) Default 1 Button Setup Default 2 Button Setup ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Punch 1 [] (Square) Punch 1 [] (Square) Punch 2 /\ (Triangle) Punch 2 X Kick 1 X Kick 1 /\ (Triangle) Kick 2 O Kick 2 O Crouch L2 Crouch L1 Block L1 Block L2 Default 3 Button Setup Default 4 Button Setup ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Punch 1 [] (Square) Punch 1 [] (Square) Punch 2 /\ (Triangle) Punch 2 X Kick 1 X Kick 1 /\ (Triangle) Kick 2 O Kick 2 O Crouch R2 Crouch R1 Block R1 Block R2 My Custom Button Setup Custom Button Setup* ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Punch 1 [] (Square) Punch 1 Punch 2 /\ (Triangle) Punch 2 Kick 1 X Kick 1 Kick 2 O Kick 2 Crouch L1 Crouch Block R1 Block *Unknown, you set up the buttons yourself. Now, you'll need some basic knowledge of this game. You can find some of it in the Basics section of this FAQ. You will also need some basic survival tips. If you want to learn the hard way, which I had to, then you'll play through Story Mode and find out yourself, if not, I'll tell you some tips. - Evasion: you'll need to avoid enemy attacks, especially when they jump you, as well as Raged and/or cheap enemies - Defense: you'll need to block a lot, especially when you're getting jumped or fighting against a Raged enemy; block until they're open then attack them with something quick and strong that'll knock them down - Offense: you'll need to attack a lot as well, but be careful with what attacks you use, don't risk doing a high-powered, slow move that would leave you open for a wide period of time, otherwise you can get killed; also, if you fight against someone who just keeps on blocking forever, keep doing really, really quick attacks (quick start up and recovery) and just do that forever, if that doesn't work... - Throwing: throw them, if you're fighting against someone who just loves to block and waits for an opportunity to attack, then just throw them while they're blocking, that'll teach 'em - Sneaking Up: if you're on a team, try sneaking up behind an enemy and attack/throw them to give an opportunity for your partner(s) to attack Survival Tips: ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ If you really want some survival tips, they're above. To have individual survival tips for each character, just play through Story Mode with each character. You'll learn what it takes to survive with the character you are using. I can't really help you out here, except with Raekwon. But they can be described above and throughout the Story Mode Walkthrough. Fighting Strategy: ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Raekwon is a pretty unique character with different strategies. The mini-sections below will go into more detail than this section, but in this mini-section, it will be broad about Raekwon's various skills and what you should use. All of his attacks are great and all, but they all have their own weaknesses/strengths. Mixing up is essential against human opponents in order to get some hits in, but only mix up with attacks that are really useful, such as launchers or attacks that knock down your opponent. It is necessary for you to block and evade, find an opening, rush in and attack. Or you can just Counter if your character has it. You can do many things and listening to someone else probably won't help you find your ideal strategy. You just have to play through Story mode to learn strategies against CPU opponents while learning strategies against humans, you have to find some people to play against. Mix-Ups and Juggles: ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Mix-Ups...what the freak is that!? Well, if you read one of my Ehrgeiz Character Guides or Mike Allen's Strategy Guide, you'd know what it is. A mix-up...is exactly what it is, a mix-up. You have some moves that you trade off between that have different start up and recovery times that might trick your opponent into doing something you can attack them. You "mix" between them and you should be able to attack your opponent if you use it correctly. Mix-ups, of course, only work against human opponents though. As for juggling, Raekwon is a very good one, and you should be able to think of some your own and if you think it's worthy/good enough, send it to me and I'll think about it. If I already know it, then I won't list it, maybe I will. It depends on what I feel like doing. ________________________________________________________________________ |Story Mode Walkthrough:| ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ __ _____________ _______________________________________________________ |Staten Island| Stages ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Courtyard: There are three enemies here, two with one life, and the other with two lives, while you get four lives. The enemies are Suang Dao, Wuji, and Shrui Shan (he has two lives). Suang Dao is Rza's rival; Wuji: Gza; Shrui Shan: ODB. Try shaking off two of the guy and keep one of them isolated with you so you can beat that guy up (try to make it a guy with one life). Once that guy's dead, go after the other one life guy. After he's dead, then you're only left with the last guy. It should be really easy. Just juggle your way to his death. If during anytime of the battle your Rage Meter is full, use it ASAP and kill them off. Bonus Area - Courtyard: Your enemy is Juwen Long (U-God's rival). He has three lives while you are given four. This shouldn't be too hard. Just keep juggling his sorry @$$ until he dies. Under the Bridge: Your enemy is Chang Dao (Method Man's rival). She and you have three lives each. For a beginner, this could be difficult, but just try juggling her to her death. Chinese Barge: Your enemy is Wudi So (Inspectah Deck's rival). In this stage, you will be given a random partner (from the Wu-Tang Clan). Wudi So has four lives, while you have three and your partner has two. It shouldn't be too hard since there are two of you guys, and only one of him. Keep him isolated and just keep attacking. Bonus Area - Barge: Your enemies are Shrui Shan and Nan Wang. Shrui Shan is the rival of ODB, Nan Wang: Raekwon. You will have a random partner (fron the Wu-Tang Clan). You and your partner will each have two lives, while your opponents have three lives each. You take care of one of the enemies while your partner gets the other. Try getting rid of one of your opponent's lives, then attack the other opponent for a while until your original opponent comes back. Once you have a full Rage meter, use it and kill these enemies quickly. __ _________ ___________________________________________________________ |Chinatown| Stages ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Warehouse: Your enemies are Jin Gang and Wuji. Jin Gang is Ghostface Killah's rival while Wuji is Gza's rival. Jin Gang has two lives, Wuji one, and you three. Bonus Area - Warehouse 1: Your opponent is Wuji (Gza's rival). He has two lives while you have three. It shouldn't be hard, since you have an advantage. Get rid of him just by juggling him to death. Bonus Area - Warehouse 2: Your opponents are Wudi So (Inspectah Deck's rival) and Shrui Shan ODB's rival). You will be given a random partner (from the Wu-Tang Clan of course) and you must kill ten of your opponents total. You and your partner each have three lives. This might be pretty difficult if you aren't good enough. But really, you just have to beat on one guy until he dies, then help out your partner to kill the guy he's fighting. Once you have a full Rage meter, activate it and go on a killing rampage. You should be able to kill at least three guys while Raged. Then it's pretty simple then. Chinatown Square: Your enemy is Nan Wang, Raekwon's rival. You each have three lives. Watch out for him, he's pretty tough, alright. But he isn't too hard. Just juggle him in the corner and it should be over just like that. Activate your Rage meter as soon as you get it and it'll be even easier. Bonus Area - Chinatown: Your enemy is Jin Gang (Ghostface Killah's rival). He has three lives while you have two. You will have two random partners (from the Wu-Tang Clan, of course, I can stop saying this now, I hope) that have one life each. Jin Gang's Rage meter fills up really quickly, and if he does one Jackhammer throw, you'll die, as well as your partners if it's done on them. Keep on attacking him, and juggle him as much as possible. Once you have a full Rage meter, use it. Your partners aren't always so smart, so you'll have to take on Jin Gang by yourself sometimes and it isn't funny. But with teamwork (or just some really good juggles), Jin will be dead...eventually. Chinatown Sewers: Your enemies are Suang Dao (Rza's rival) and Chang Dao (Method Man's rival). You have to protect a random partner from the two enemies. All participants in this battle have one life each. Block/evade a lot, but try not to do towards your friend, otherwise they'll attack him when they get close. If you can, push your opponent into a corner, get away, and fight the opponents. This should be a pretty easy battle. Once your Rage meter is full, use it, and it'll be really easy to kill your opponents. Airport Hangar: There will be an infinite number of Gan Wuyin (Masta Killa's rival), but only three on the screen at a time. They have no power, so they die after one hit, but they just keep on coming. You are given four lives. You have to survive this stage for two minutes. This isn't a really easy stage. You have to block a lot, but don't let them get too close because they'll throw. You have to evade, too. Block, and when there's an opening, attack. You can also evade and then do a dashing attack towards an opponent. There are many things you can do to survive, but what matters is...can you take it? Try to keep dashing away for a really long time, but when one of the guys gets too close, try doing one or two attacks and dashing away again. If you can survive for at least 40 seconds per life, then this will be a pretty easy stage. __ _____ _______________________________________________________________ |China| Stages ŻŻŻŻŻ Chinese Courtyard: Your enemies are...well, it depends on who you're using, but there's three of them. All three of the enemies are the same character, but they are the rival of the character you are using. Two of them have one life each, while the other has two lives. You are given three lives. This is a really frustrating stage, especially when you seem powerless and you can't beat them. Trust me, 'You Can Do It If You Really Try'. Well, you have to evade quite often and get a quick attack in once in a while on one of the enemies. Try attacking one of the one-life guys, since once they die, there will be less guys left to fight. Once/if you have a full Rage meter, use it, and wreak havoc! This is probably the only "easy" way to win, even though it still isn't easy. But once you beat this stage, on to The Forgotten Temple. The Forgotten Temple: You will fight Hei-Mudan, except there are three of her!? You are given five lives, while two of the Hei-Mudans have two lives, while the other only has one life. Try killing the one with one life first. Block and evade as much as possible, getting in a few quick hits in there once in a while until you have a full Rage meter. Use your Rage and get rid of these enemies. Shouldn't be too hard, you're given an equal number of lives as all three of them combined. Shaolin Temple: Lei-Gong is your enemy, and he supposedly has the power to use the weather. But if he did, you'd be dead in one hit. You and he both have six lives. Okay, he is a really cheap character and loves ducking. If you don't have the right move to hit him with, this is really hard. Do not block for long, otherwise, he'll grab you, which he just loves to do. He also has some funky attacks like levitating near the top of the ceiling and going down slowly and doing a flying sidekick or a smashing headbutt from the top. He has some really cheap attacks. Be careful, this might take you a while. The easiest way to defeat him is to just stand there in a neutral position. Once you see an opening, do one of the juggles the character you are using has, or just keep doing the same launcher, it should be able to hit at least four times if you use the right launcher. Then back up and stand there again. Just keep doing this until he dies. Once your Rage meter is full, use it and just try to kill him, it could be the only way for some characters. Before you can proceed on to the next stage, you must have 35 Chambers (you get the 35th Chamber by beating this stage). Otherwise, you'll beat Lei-Gong and you won't have access to the next stage. You can then get the other Chambers then come back, but you have to fight Lei-Gong again, so I wouldn't risk it if Lei-Gong is really difficult for you. Inner Sanctum: The last stage. Mong Zhu's your opponent. Both of you guys have nine lives. And he's a really quick character, but I don't think he's as cheap as Lei-Gong. This is where all of your skills you've learned on this quest comes in handy. Block and evade is the key, and once he activates his Rage, watch out, just evade as long as possible. Block until you see an opening, then attack and keep him away. It's gonna be a long battle, unless you use your Rage meter once you can and kill as many of his lives you can. The easiest way to defeat him is to just stand there in a neutral position. Once you see an opening, do one of the juggles the character you are using has, or just keep doing the same launcher, it should be able to hit at least four times if you use the right launcher. Then back up and stand there again. ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Stance-Glow Hand Cross@: D, F+K1+K2, delay, P2 |18 Okay, the 'delay' part is the phase that starts once the Special Stance@ is executed and ends after Raekwon is finished saying, "Throw 'em up," which doesn't really sound like he's saying it. After you finish hear him saying what he says, you can then push P2. But the sure-fire way of knowing when to push P2 is once his fists are fully extended, or nearly fully extended. ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Stance-Triple Glow Hand Cross@: D, F+K1+K2, |18, 18, 18 delay, P2, P2, P2 Same as above, except P2 can be replaced with P2, P2, P2. You do this and get an attack in after you recover from this move, don't worry, it's really fast. ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Stance Switch-Front Dash: K1+P2, P2 |N/A You can use this to do a quick dodge and attack type of strategy. ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Counter High (high attacks)@: P1+P2 |10 Pretty good if you're opponent likes to stay on the offensive quite often. Only works on middle/high attacks, not low. ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Counter Low (low attacks)@: K1+K2 |10 It's the same thing like above, except it only works against low attacks. You'll more than likely successfully knock them down. It has served me well and it might do the same for you. ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Reverse Dash: Dash+K2 |N/A Good to psych out your opponent temporarily and get a quick attack in while they might be confused. He can easily execute a 10+ hitting combo that doesn't have the use of OTGs. His 10+ hitting combos take off at lesat 60%, and I have this one combo that takes off at least 85%. He is my favorite character and I couldn't do without him. He is the other of the only two fighters out of the main nine that can execute a "true" 10+ hit 'juggle'. Raekwon is the boxing type and isn't very good at medium-range or long-range fighting. He's the HARDCORE close-range fighter, and getting too far is his biggest weakness. _____________________ |Close-Range Fighting:| ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Follow the standing P1 with: ============================ 1. P1 (to P1 links) 2. P1 (delay) 3. P2, K1 4. Delay, P2 (to P2 links) 5. F+P2 (to F+P2 links) 6. K1 (to K1 links) 7. Crouch+P1 or P2 8. Crouch+K1 or K2 9. Grab Notes: When you follow it up with P1, P2 and it connects, you will have a chance to do a mini juggle. Most people usually don't Counter, so don't worry about it, but if you face an opponent that does Counter, then you should try it too. Follow the standing P2 with: ============================ 1. P1 (to P1 links) 2. P2 (delay) 3. F+P2 (to F+P2 links) 4. K1 (to K1 links) 5. Crouch+P1 or P2 6. Crouch+K1 or K2 7. Grab Notes: When you follow the P2 with the P1 links, you are able to do juggles. Grabbing is always a good solution and the K1 links are to hit a crouching opponent, just in case they crouch after you attack with P2. Follow the standing K1 with: ============================ 1. K1 (to K1 links) 2. K1 (delay) 3. P1 (to P1 links) 4. F+P2 (to F+P2 links) 5. Crouch+P1 or P2 6. Crouch+K1 or K2 7. Grab Notes: There isn't much to do with this attack, although you can do some things. ______________________ |Medium-Range Fighting:| ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Raekwon is a close-range fighter. Stay close or die. He has no medium-range attacks whatsoever. But you can use the [Dash+P2] or [D, F+P2] to close up the distance so you'll be up-close again. ____________________ |Long-Range Fighting:| ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Same as above. __________________ |Crouching Attacks:| ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ I don't know about this. I have never used a crouching attack with Raekwon in a match, it isn't necessary. And also, Raekwon is one of the best jugglers in the game, no crouching attacks are needed. But if you ask me, I'd say the best crouching attack against standing or grounded opponents would be CR+K2. The one to use against crouching opponents would be CR+P1. _______________________________ |Countering Opponent's Mistakes:| ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Raekwon can counter really heavily. You can counter with a launcher and juggle them causing them to lose a lot of power. If your opponent loves to keep attacking you, just keep Countering. This way, they'll get frustrated and should temporarily stop. After which you need to do mix-ups in order to hit your opponent. ______________ |Miscellaneous:| ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ There's not much else you need to know, except mastering the concept of juggling with Raekwon. Once you got that down, then you need to get countering down. After that, do blocking and evasion. The last thing is real Countering. The below paragraph refers to Raekwon's Special Stance@ and its follow-up moves. Okay, the 'delay' part is the phase that starts once the Special Stance@ is executed and ends after Raekwon is finished saying, "Throw 'em up," which doesn't really sound like he's saying it. After you finish hear him saying what he says, you can then push P2. But the sure-fire way of knowing when to push P2 is once his fists are fully extended, or nearly fully extended. For Stance-Triple Glow Hand Cross@, it's the same as above, except P2 can be replaced with P2, P2, P2. Also, if one of the hits connects, the opponent is knocked back. ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ ________________ |Against Raekwon:| ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ When fighting against Raekwon, watch out against his heavy countering. Whenever he starts a juggle, you must try to Tech Roll out of it ASAP. If you're playing with a partner, if Raekwon starts juggling, try to dash towards Raekwon and get a quick attack in to stop him from hurting your partner. He has a quick medium-range attack (Dashing Elbow Smash), so watch out for it, but the recovery time for that attack is very bad. Watch out for it and counter heavily. He has a nice way of getting quick attacks in, so it would be better for you if you just Countered his attacks. I can't really help you here since I don't fight against any Raekwon fighters because I'm the Raekwon fighter in my area. ________________________________________________________________________ Part 8: Raekwon Info ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ _______________________________________________ - Raekwon Character Profile ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Name Raekwon A.K.A.'s Raekwon the Chef, Lou Diamonds Story: After the first Wu Album, 'Enter the Wu-Tang - 36 Chambers', Raekwon also known as Raekwon the Chef because he has so much lyrical flavor, continued to play an important role in Hip-Hop with his own solo joint entitled 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.' With it, Rae lyrically created the Wu-Gambino element of the Wu Universe. It gave new nicknames to each of his counterparts that featured a Mafia-like theme, with speed and power moves that emphasize his tremendous upper-body strength, Raekwon demonstrates the mystical art of Shaolin Shadow Boxing. He is fast with combos and can easily stagger an opponent with jolting throws, setting them up for the final blow. _______________________________________________ - More Raekwon Info ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Raekwon is a pretty good character, with some really cheap juggles that take a lot of your power. If you fight him as an opponent, don't worry, computer doesn't know how to use his skill to the max. If you're playing against a human player, it depends who it is. I'm pretty good with him, and he's my best as well as fav. character in this game. ________________________________________________________________________ Part 9: Basics ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ If you don't know how to move, block, crouch, and/or attack, then you need some common sense and/or knowledge. Well, here are some basic stuff you can do. Dash: To dash, push in any direction twice on the D-Pad/Joystick Tech Roll: When you are knocked into the air, right before your body lands on the ground push the [Block] button (you can hold it if you wish) Flip Up: When you are on the ground, push the [Block] button and you'll flip up. Activate Rage Meter: Push all attack buttons simultaneously, damage you do is now doubled Roll: When you are on the ground, you can roll in four different directions. Which direction you roll is relative to the camera angle, so when you push Up, it might be a forward/back roll or a side roll. The same thing with the other directions. Wake-Up Attacks: When you are on the ground, you can push one of the attack buttons to get up and attack. Rising Attacks: To do a rising attack, you must be crouching. Let go of the crouch button and right after letting go, push an attack button, that is a rising attack. But only some attacks differ when it's a rising attack. Juggling: The opponent can only be launched three times, including the original launcher. So you can only relaunch twice during a juggle, then there's an opportunity to do an OTG anytime during the juggle. Miscellaneous Stuff: For moves that require you to push a direction (L, R, U, or D), you can change the direction of each movement to its opposite (L with R, U with D) and do the move like that and it'll still come out normally. Also, if you hit the opponent while they are on the ground, the damage they take is reduced a lot. ________________________________________________________________________ Part 10: Frequently Asked Questions ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ 1. I played through all of the stages, never continued, never played the same stage more than once, and got all of the chambers. I wonder what I'd get if I skipped all of the bonus stages...for Time Attack. 2. What's the Parental Lockout Code? The Parental Lockout Code is... /\ O X X [] /\ O [] If you think I copied PRevolution's FAQ, I didn't. I bought this game the day after it came out. Be forewarned, if you already have secrets for the game without the Parental Lockout Code, then you can't have the Memory Card with your file in Slot 1, otherwise it would load that data and you'd never get a chance to put the code in. If you put the code in, then you'll be losing the stuff you earned. It's on you. These paragraphs below are of my previous response. Sorry, I'm not going to tell you. If you don't have the instruction manual, then it could mean you got the game illegally, even if you didn't, so I'm not going to tell you. I want to respect what Paradox Entertainment did, and that's not distributing the code to whoever doesn't have the manual. It wouldn't be fair to people who had to get the instruction manual. If you got a burn of this game, well, that's just how it is for you, isn't it? Actually, if you want the code, check out the GameFAQs Message Board. 3. What's that one move with Raekwon that is like three really quick Glow Hand Crosses? I found this one out. Just check out Raekwon's move list (standing section). 4. What are some of your "best" juggles? Like I said before, I'm not going to tell my secrets to the whole world. I did that once with Ehrgeiz, and I'm not going to do it again. My best juggle is 17 hits and does 153 damage. If you don't believe me, I can send you a picture as proof. ________________________________________________________________________ Part 11: Special Thanks ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Paradox Entertainment: Making this game Queen Ruby Holdings: Help making this game Activision: Publishing and help making this game Kao Megura: His old disclaimer that I am using ________________________________________________________________________ Part 12: Author Information ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ Name: Dan GC E-mail: LB Dan GC@aol.com Web page: http://i.am/dan_gc Under Construction ICQ: None "You're funny.
