Since there was no item guides really, I decided to do one.. Of course since i'm new to guide-making i will make LOADS of mistakes and will miss some things.. Please Email me(in the contact section) if you either a) find the spring of eternal youth or b) fixing some mistakes in my guide OR telling me some items i have forgotten. Hello, gorgeous! Just updated the look with this FAQ, so enjoy! Most likely will be a final edition, except some updates with user information(yes I am still accepting them. If people are giving me Sell Prices that is OK because I will likely never finish it. For some odd reason, I found a Pokemon Database in my Games - folder. If someone owns it, I will apologise and credit you fully as I used them for the sections marked with a (^). Again sorry, and please, if you recognise any of the work marked with a (^), please contact me(cnct). I THINK that this is of the 'Pokemon NetBattle' program, but I am unsure. A fully updated version(latest), can always be found at www.gamefaqs.com / www.gamesfaqs.com (heh, they both respond to gamefaqs) - HWS230bc __________________ (vrsn) Version History 1.0 - Started the guide.... WHICH IS ALREADY RARE!!!!(i lost so many hours searching for them) Use: 1.5x more exp to the holder ----------------- Brightpowder - Found: Exchange some pokecoupons on PKMN Colloseum Use: when held, ups evasion ----------------- White Herb - Found: Battle Tower(i dont know which level though, plz contact me) Use: When held, will 'haze' away stat loss.(think itemated haze) ----------------- Soothe Bell - Found: In the Pokemon Tower(Lavender Town), when using item finder where Mr. Fuji was. Use: When held, happiness is upped.... ----------------- Silver Powder - Found: On wild Venonats Use: When held, ups bug moves...(not that any are really worthwile apart from Megahorn) ----------------- Sea Incense - Found: Lost Cave Use: When held, ups water moves a little bit... also when held by a pokemon breeding, it will make a baby version of that pokemon ONLY FOR AZURILL(for example, Magmar is breeding, while holding Sea Incense, and when you hatch the egg, out comes a magby) To get to the Sea Incense, go right from the area where the stairs to the exit (or entrance) is, then go up. After going up, go back down and you will be in a different room than before. Now to get to the sea incense, just go up from this room. Very simple. ----------------- Lax Incense - Found: Lost cave Right Down Use: Wobbufet gets a baby Wynaut if held for breeding, when held, foes accuracy falls ----------------- Everstone - Found: Rock Tunnel PKMN Center Must have 20 pokemon in pkdex. Use: Stops evolution... GOD there were so many of these in gsc but whatever.... ----------------- Choice Band - Found: Battle Tower i think(dont know which level) Use: ups any move by 50%, but you can only use that attack for the rest of the battle ----------------- Cleanse tag - Found: Pokemon Tower(Lavender Town) on the 'healing area' Use: Wards pokemon away(although not as strong as repel) ----------------- Metal coat - Found: Island Five next to an onix's grave way down the bottom of the map. In Sevault Canyon, in Island 7 Use: Ups Chansey's critical ratio if held.. (99% sure it works for blissey as well but, what do i know?) ----------------- Macho Macho Man.. i mean Brace <_<: Found: When using the item finder on Giovanni's spot in Viridian Gym... Use: Double Effort Values... ----------------- Leftovers - Found: using the itemfinder where Snorlax(es) were Use: heals 1/16 of your HPof a pokemons hp each turn. Rounded down if it is not total(thing?) - As in A pokemon that has 160 health and a 174 health, the 174 health pokemon will get the same amount of health each turn as the 160 health poke The actual formula looks something like this: Health recovered = Maximum health/16 However, any remainder is ignored. Therefore, 160/16 = 10, which is how much health a Pokemon with a maximum of 160 HP will gain with Leftovers. Let's just say you've got my stubborn Raich, at 174 HP. The health it will recover is 174/16, or 10 remainder 14. However, the remainder is ignored, which means my Raichu will only recover 10 health. - Thanks to Tracy Smith again - Which is basically what I said(me?) in the first place.. Ahwell... ----------------- Kings Rock - Found: Pickup, Sevault Canyon(bottom left hand corner with strength/rocksmash puzzle) Use: when held, foe might flinch randomly. Also evolves certain pokemon when traded - Slowpoke --> SlowKing, Poliwhirl --> Politoed ----------------- Upgrade - Found: Rocket Warehouse(Island 5) Use: Evolves Porygon into Porygon2 when traded ----------------- Scope Lens - Found: Battle Tower Use: ups critical ratio when held ----------------- Spell Tag - Found: Wild Haunter Use: ups Ghost moves when held. ----------------- Focus Band - Found: Wild Machokes(rare) Use: might stop pokemon from fainting from a fatal blow of sorts(i dont think this works with Toxic, poisonpowder, burn etc.) ----------------- Dragon Scale - Found: Found on the Southeast coast of Six(6) Island, also found in theTower, also found on horseas. Use: evolves Seadra into Kingdra when traded ----------------- Stick - Found: Wild Farfetch'd(or even faster, the one you trade), apparently its the.... celery.. no wait... leak.. um.. THING that Farfetch'd is holding....
