Credits ______________________________________________________________________________________________ ------------ Introduction ------------ This guide is for Zoids: Silver White Beast King Machine Liger Zero, for the Gameboy Color. There are 2 Zoids game released for the Gameboy Color. The first is Zoids - Devil Revived: The Genobreaker Chapter, which is based off the Zoids Chaotic Century and Zoids Guardian Force anime. The second is Zoids - Silver White Beast King Machine Liger Zero, which is what this guide is about. Do not get mixed up with these 2 games. Both are featured in Zoids Saga for the Gameboy Advance. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ --------------------- Walkthrough Section 1 --------------------- Start- When you start your game, you have 2 choices. Either the Helic Republic, or the Guylos Empire. Personally, I don't know what the differences are. I chose Helic Republic. You'll be given a choice to name the Main Character. The default name is Allstar. There will be a series of conversations, and a series of fixed battles. Just follow suit. Town 1- Soon, you'll be in town, after you fight off a Berserk Fuhrer. Explore a bit, and check out the stores if you wish. If you need repairing, go to the house with a Zoid sign. But there is a better healer outside. Talk to Party and the Elder if you wish. Overworld 1- Enemies: Molga, Elephander, Lightning Saix, Pteras Areas: Ruins 1, Town 1, Overworld 2, Island Camp. Here, there is an island above. If you explore it, you can find a guy who will repair Zoids for free. Anyway, your destination is a Ruins to the North East Area. Ruins 1- Enemies: Rev Raptor, Command Wolf, Molga, Once you reach the ruins, an event will happen. You will receive the Hover Cargo. This will allow you to store up to 20 Zoids. There is a guy outside that will heal you for free. Here, you are in a room with 4 Containers, and a locked door. Each of these containers contain a Card Key. You can only hold on to one at any one time. When you pick a key, the chest will be empty. Talk to an empty chest, to place a Key back, so that you can pick up another Key. Here, one of the Keys will open the door. Keep trying each key on the Switch until the door opens. This will use up the key. In the Second room, get a passcode from the left container. Go to the right, press the switch to open the door on the right. Enter the room, and go up stairs. Don't worry about the left door. Here, explore all around with the conveyor belts. Disable the trap with the First Pass code. There should be a key. Look for it, then go back down. Use the key on the left door, and go up. Here, there's another locked door. Don't worry about it. Follow the conveyor belt, and collect another Key Card. This one will not open the locked door. What you should do is to go back to the first room where all the key cards are. You are going to have to replace to get the right key. (If you can't place the Key into the empty chest, try opening and closing the door first.) Once you found the right key to open that locked door, proceed. Ride the conveyor belts to collect the 2 chest on the right, then continue to the left. Go down the stairs. Here, go all the way to the right and go up the stairs. Go up the stairs again. Here, to the north, there is a guy who will repair your Zoids for 50 gold. You should heal, then proceed through the maze like room. You will be taken to a room, with a sign. In the room, you will have to proceed in a specific pattern, otherwise, you will be taken back where you started again. Move like this: Left, left, up, left, left, down, down, left, down, down, right, right. Continue, and get a Passcode from the room at the top. Go down and use the password, then pull the lever. You will be in another room where you have to move in a specific motion. Move: Left, left, up, up, left, up, up, left, left, down, left, down, down, right, down, right, down. Go up the stairs. Go explore a bit, and take all those containers. One has a passcode. use the pass code to disable the electric field, then pull that main switch. Go up to where the 4 switches are. Pull down all except the second switch. This will open the door. You will find the Liger Zero Schneider here. Aftr a conversation, Party will remove the Armor Parts from this Zoid. (Poor Schneider!) From now on, you can equip the Schneider Parts on your Liger Zero to turn it into a Liger Zero Schneider. When you head outside, you will be forced to do battle with Berserk Fuhrer. Hope you are strong enough to win. Once you win, go all the way back into the first town, and talk with the Elder. After the event, you will be able to go to Overworld 2. On the overworld, head east, then north, then west, and cross the bridge, This will take you to the next area. Overworld 2- Enemies: Stealth Viper, Dibison, Ultrasaurus, Malder (Marshes- Ultrasaurus, Death Stinger) Areas: Overworld 3, Town 2, Town 3, Mountain Pass, Hop Tower Cave. Hop Tower, Coast, Castle This area is huge. Explore as much as you want. But go to Town 2, which is just south of where you came from. South of this place is Overworld 3. The Death Stingers and Ultrasaurus at the marshes are strong, at around Lv 30. You might want to catch one if you are strong enough. The Ultrasaurus may be strong in Zoids Saga, but here, they rank lower than the Storm Sworder. Town 2- Here you will fight a Salamander, but it quickly escapes. Jan will thank you. Explore this area and visit the shop. When you are ready, talk to the Chief at the north side of town. After this event, you will be taken back into Town 1 with another event. After this event, head all the way back to Overworld 2. In overworld 2, head south to get to Overworld 3 Overworld 3- Enemies: Shield Liger, Dimetrodon, Heldigunner Areas: Overworld 2, Valley, Ruins 2 This place has some good Zoids. Head down to the cliff below and enter it. Valley- Enemies: Zabat, HelCat This place is relatively simple. You start from the south. Your purpose is to make it up north. You should see a door you can't enter. Don't worry about that. Just head north and exit. When you exit, you will be back in Overworld 3, with some wild Heldigunners. Head for the ruins. Ruins 2- Enemies: Golhex, SpinoSapper, Saber Tiger, Redhorn, Godos You're at the entrance. To open the door, you are required to turn all the Switches here red. Once that is done, the door will open. A repair man lies at the stairs far right. He will repair for 100 gold. Here, there are 4 doors. The one at the far left is unlocked. You purpose is to go through that door, collect a passcode, open another of the 4 doors, collect another passcode, and open another door. When you're done, there should still be one door left locked. Don't worry about that, it is more of an exit than an entrance. Continue on. You should reach 3 more doors. The one at the far right can be open. It has a Switch, and a Special container holding a Solar Panel. Hitting the Switch will open the second door. In the Second Door, there are 2 switches. One reveals a container, the other opens the third door. You can only pull 1 at a time. Go through the 3rd door and down the stairs. Note that you can go down the other passage and unlock the door you previously couldn't. This takes you right back. Find your way through this maze. There should be a locked passage. Don't worry about that. Find a stairs, and go down. You're are in a room with 1 switch on the left and 2 switch on the right. The left switch will open the door to the next room. The right switches will determine the pattern of the next room. You can only pull the 2 switches when the door is closed. There are 4 patterns to the next room. Here's how to solve this puzzle: 1) Pull down the 2nd Switch and leave the 1st switch as it is. Go in the room, grab the stuff possible. Get the pass code, exit and close the door. 2) Pull down both switches, and enter the room. Open the locked door with the code, and get all the stuff. Exit and close the door. 3) Make sure both switches are up, and enter the room. Open the locked door with the code, and get all the stuff. Exit and close the door. 4) Pull the 1st Switch down, and leave the 2nd Switch up, and enter the room. Open the locked door with the code, and get all the stuff. Exit and close the door. 5) Now go back to pull down the 2nd Switch and leave the 1st switch as it is. Go in the room, and now you can unlock that door. There is a container which I don't know it's purpose. There is also a stairs down. Here is a big room, with many small rooms. Explore them and continue. Head to the left. More small rooms at the bottom. Again, another chest I don't know the purpose. Head to the top. You are required to pull the 3 switches in a specific order to open it. There are more than 1 combinations. Try them. If a combination is wrong, the switches jumps back. Once you're done, go through. Here, there is an electric trap, and 4 switches. Again, you will have to pull in a specific order to disable the trap. Continue once you found the right combination. Here, another puzzle awaits. 1 door and 3 switches. Pull down the 1st and 3rd switch. Keep pulling up and down on the middle switch to open the door. It will open little by little. Use it like a pump. 3 Small rooms are below. Head left when you have explored. In a small room, there will be 2 containers. The left is an All-Powered System, the right is an All Defense Armor. You can only pick one, the other will dissappear. I recommend the All-Powered System. It adds 25 attack, and the Armor only adds 15 defense. Head to the stairs in this room. You are in a maze like series of rooms. You are too proceed by visiting a fixed number of rooms. If you visit 9 rooms or more, you will be taken back to the start. Move: North, East, North, East, North, West, West, and North. You will be in the Room with the Liger Zero Jager. Once again, you will strip the Jager of its armor. (Poor Jager!) Head out. Now, you can go back to the door you previously couldn't enter in this dungeon. You can equip the Jager Parts on the Liger Zero. Return to Town 2 Remember that the Spinosappers will drop Counter Systems, so be sure to nab a few. Town 2- Jan will come out to meet you. Here, head up to the farm to face the Salamander again. It may try to escape, so it may take a few tries to take it down. You should be well prepared here. Once you defeated the Salamander, there will be an event with Jan and the Village Chief. Town 1- Return to town 1 and talk to the Elder. A talk will happen. Go to Town 3 Mountain Passage- Enemies: Goldos Nothing special here. Just a simple shortcut to Town 3. Town 3- Talk to the black guy at the top of town. There will be an event. You are asked to find a Naple Flower. Head for the castle. Castle- If you pick a wrong chest, you will get sent out. Just go all the way to the rightmost room. Open the chest there. It should have the Flower. Go back to town, where the black man is. Talk to him and he will let you pass. Either way, once you're done, you won't get to visit this place again. Field- Enemies: Guysack, Merda, Raynos If shouldn't be too hard to find your way here. Just keep going all the way to the mountain range. Mountain Range- Enemies: Gunsniper, Saicurtis Find your way through here. You should find a door. Don't worry about that now. Go up to the cliff. When you reach there, there will be an event, saying that you can't pass, and you will be taken to the start. Head back to town. Heal, and head out. Out of town- Beserk Fuhrer attacks again. First, fight against Berserk Fuhrer. After you win, Solid will show up. This time, you will have to fight against a Storm Sworder S and Berserk Fuhrer. But this time, Super Genosaurer is here to help you. After the battle, Solid joins you with his Super GenoSaurer. Go back to where you previously couldn't in the Mountain Range, and Solid will make a bridge. Cliff- Enemies: Storm Sworder, Double Sworder, Iguan Make your way up through the vines. If you are in an an area with no vines or no place to stand, you will slide down. This place shouldn't be too hard. Head all the way back to another Mountain Passage. An event will happen, and you will be take outside again. Head all the way back to Town 1 and talk to the elder. There will be some conversations. After that, head out of town. There will be a further event. You will be taken all the way to the coast. Coast- Some events happen here. You will have to temporarily abandon your Liger Zero. Your next destination is underwater, so you may only bring Zoids that can go in the water. You can only bring in Lizard or Fish type Zoids. (Which means Land/Water and Water Zoids.) The Death Stingers and UltraSaurus at the marshes make good choices. There is a man who repairs for 100, and a woman that sell stuff too. When you are done, head into the water. If you need to get out, just talk to your Liger Zero. Underwater- Enemies- Wardick, Sinker Areas: Ruin 3, Cave Head out of screen to return to main map. Just head into the ruins here. Ruins 3- Enemies: Wardick, Sinker, Brachios, HammerHead, Barigator Just head up and explore the doors. When you reach an electric trap, pull down on all except the 3rd switch to disable it. Continue north. This room is quite large. There are deads ends over, so search carefully for containers. Contunue on here. Search around, and make sure you collect 7 plastic explosives. Eventually, you will end up at a room with a blocked passage. Search your way around in the next room. There are 2 stairs here. The one above leads to a door that can only open with a Key Card. The one to the southeast leads to some computer terminals, keys and some other stuff. Anyway, search for 3 coloured weights here. Then go to the staircase that leads to the key cards. Find 3 key cards, one coloured weight, and read the terminals for hints on the cards and password. Remember the chests that contain the key cards. Once you're done, go to the stairs that lead to the locked door. You are required to use a key card, and a matching password. Try them. Go to the computer at the top left, and you will automatically use the key card. Once you use the keycard, it is gone, regardless of whether you use the correct password or not. To get back a key card, go back to the Container where you first found it. Once you get a key and the matching passcode, the door will open. Save before trying. Continue on. (You can go back to the containers to take the card key you used, though you won't need it.) The next place is a dark room. You should be able to figure this out on your own. Allstar will give hints on how far you can move in one direction. Eventually, you reach this place with Zoid Statues. You are required to pick them up. Once you picked up the statues, the door will shut, and you will have to place a matching weight in the pillar before the door opens. Place a weight that matches the colour of the statue for the door to open. In the next room, simply place all the statues on the stands, than the door will open. Enter. You find yourself face to face with the Liger Zero Panzer unit. Once again, you will remove its armor parts. (Poor thing.) Head out and exit. Exit the map to return to the Surface. From now on, you can take any Zoid underwater, not just water Zoids. Wierd, but don't ask me why. Town 3- Now, return all the way to Town 3, through the forest, mountains and cliff, and get to where you originally couldn't. There will be an event where you destroy the rocks. Once again, you will be sent back out. (This is starting to repeat itself.) Return to Town 1, and talk to the elder. There will be some conversations, and finally, you will be going to Hop Tower. Hop Tower Cave- Enemies: Blade Liger, Genosaurer Search your way through this place. It's not really a dungeon, and it's quite easy to navigate through. When you find a Passcode here, you can use it to unlock the door, creating a Shortcut. Eventually, you'll wind up at a shop, and a repairman. Continue north to exit. The Blade Ligers are quite powerful, so you might want to catch one. Furthur north is the Hop Tower. Hop Tower- Enemies: Mad Thunder, GenoSaurer, Command Wolf AU, Iron Kong, Elephander AG, Gator, Gojulas When you first reach here, and event happens. You can't use the elevators yet. In the first storey, you have to move on a series of conveyor belts. Find the right ones that will take you to the stairs. On the 3rd Storey, there is a GenoSaurer S as a boss. Defeat him to continue. Soon the enemies will change, at storey 6. You will face Iron Kongs and Elephanders AG. At storey 10, you will find a shop that sells some rare stuff, and a repair man. At storey 11, you will come face to face with a Death Saurer. He is tough, but you should not face too much problems with him. Here, the enemies change again. If you remembered Gators to be weak, useless, and incapable of defending themselves, you better forget that now. At storey 13, you can take a staircase down for more treasures. At storey 20, prepare to battle with the Genobreaker. After that, enter the computer room for a long event. Afterwards, a new place will appear on Overworld 2. Berserk Fuhrer's Lair. Berserk Fuhrer Lair- Here, be prepared to fight the powered Berserk Fuhrer. After you finished the battle, credits will roll, and you will see the ending. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ --------------------- Walkthrough Section 2 --------------------- Now for the miscellaneos stages. Note that there are some Zoids which you can initiate a battle with. These Zoids can appear more than once. All you have to do is to exit the area completely, and it will reappear there. Note that you have to exit the whole stage completely, not just leave the room. Sometimes such battles will give you an item after the battle. Most of the time, you only gain such items only once, but there are those that can give items more than once. For such battles, after fighting once, when those Zoids reappear, they may call in reinforcements to help them. Or in the case of the Gojulas G Ogre, you fight him in Lv 99 instead of Lv 80. Also, almost of the shops will sell new stuff. Valley Door- Enemies: Zabat, Black Rhymos Remember that from now on, you can check through all such doors. This place isn't too hard to navigate around. Move up. Soon, you will come to face with the Iron Kong PK. Make sure you save before fighting. When you battle, make sure you destroy the weapons before the Zoid, so that you can capture it. Mountain Range Door- Enemies: Bear Fighter Not much stuff here. Be sure to save before you fight the Gojulas 3. Make sure you destroy its weapons, so that you can capture it. Cliff- See that Salamander there? Fight it, destroy its weapons, so that you can capture it. Cliff Door- All that's here is a Berserk Fuhrer. Destory it's weapons, defeat it, and capture it. Campsite- First go to town 1 and talk to the guy who was at the camp site. He will tell you the camp is filled with dragons. They are Redler MK IIs actually. Go to the camp. Sometimes a Redler MK II will run, sometimes it will fight you. When you win, you get a Hyper Generator, which you can get more than once. Ranking Challenge- Go to the repair shop at Town 2. There is a man there who would hold a match. It is a challenge where you would have to go through a long series of battle. Sort of like in Zoids Century Zero. This isn't a bad thing at all. Your greatest challenge is Team Death, a guy that uses Death Stinger, Genobreaker and Death Saurer. Hop Tower- Remember the 3 boss Zoids you had to defeat? Well, they're back again, and this time, you can capture them. Once again, they are the Genosaurer S, Death Saurer, Genobreaker. Also, at the computer room, you can find the Gojulas G Ogre. You are free to use the Elevator as well. Underwater Door- Enemies: Double Sworder S, Barigator, War Dick, Cannon Tortoise S, New Tiger, Shadow Fox, Shield Liger DCS, Saber Tiger S, Brachios, Godos This place is as hard as hell to navigate. Not to mention that some of the rare enemies only appear in specific spots. Search every cran and nook, and fight every Zoid, as you'll never know which is the rare one. There is a Gilvader here. Destroy his weapons so that you can capture him. Berserk Fuhrer Lair- I don't know what are the conditions of getting this Berserk Fuhrer to show up again, but I suspect it has something to do with the Berserk Fuhrer at the Cliff Door. He won't show up unless you have done something. (I don't know what specifically.) Sorry, even if you defeat him, the credits won't show again. Anyway, to get him to reappear again, exit and enter some other place, then enter here again. Doctor T- Once you collected every single Zoid data, Dr T will appear in Town 3. There will be a conversation with him. Whatever this is for, I have absolutely no idea. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ --------- Zoid List --------- There are 3 Sizes to a Zoid: Small, Medium, and Large. This affects the weapons they can carry. All Large Zoids can carry 3 Weapons. Size also affects a Zoid's evade. The smaller it is, the easier to avoid attacks. For the Zoid Types: Land type means the Zoid will have certain terrain advantages and disadvantages. They cannot attack Air Zoids with normal Combat Weapons. Water Zoids do not have Terrain advantages or disadvantages. They fight better in water, and less effective on land. They cannot attack Air Zoids with normal Combat Weapons. Air Zoids do not have Terrain advantages or disadvantages. They may not be attacked by normal Combat Weapons, unless by another Air Zoid. Land and Water Zoids fight both effectively on land and water. They have have certain terrain advantages and disadvantages. Some Zoids also have a built in skill. These are usually not very useful moves. Arranged in no particular order, and is far from complete. Some of the rare ones include the Flexible Thruster from the Iguan and Lightning Saix. The more useful one is the Counter System from the Spinosapper. A Dural Sensor from a Dibison would be very useful, but chances of getting one are very, very slim. A New Tiger might drop nothing at all. A: You have to destroy both of it's Weapons, then destroy the Zoid. This will give a chance of getting that Zoid. Q: How do I get a Weapon from a Zoid? A: Destroy one and only one of the Zoid's Weapons. This will give you a chance of getting that Weapon you destroyed. Q: How come I can only have 3 Zoids? A: Get to the first Ruins. Once you get the Hover Cargo, you can get up to 20. Q: How does the story of this game relate to Zoids Saga? A: The story takes place one year after the story of this game. The people living underground have been at peace with the people above. Q: How does choosing Helic Republic or Guylos Empire affect the game? A: I have absolutely no idea. I think the first few battles are changed. Q: Is there any way to view the credits again after you have beaten the game? A: Not as far as I know. Q: I have already completed the game and visited the dungeons. Why am I still missing some Weapons? A: Some of the weapons are only held by bosses. Q: Are the Genobreaker and Ultrasaurus powerful in this game? A: Not at all. They're powerful in Zoids Saga, but here, they are nowhere near as powerful as those like Death Stinger and Death Saurer. In fact, the average Storm Sworder has more HP than the average Ultrasaurus. Q: I obtained all the Zoid Data. What is Dr. T for? A: I haven't the slightest idea. Q: Is it a great advantage for a Zoid to have a built-in move? A: Not entirely. Buit-in moves usually cost a lot of AP, and deal little damage. It's much more worthwhile to arm yourself with a good weapon. It's not worthwhile to use built-in moves. Q: Why did you list Gojulas the Ogre as Godzullas G Orga? A: Because I think that is the correct name. Godzilla in Japanese is "Gojira". If that is the case, a more accurate name is Godzullas. Also, it had been mentioned plenty of times that this Zoid has been strengthen with an Organoid System. That's why it's "orga" for organoid. Even though Gojulas The Ogre was printed on the Box, I do not believe that this is the true name. Q: Is there a US release, or a translation patch to this game? A: No. End of story. Q: What is the Gameboy Color release number ID for this game? A: The number for this GBC game is 1162. Q: Where can I get the rom for this game? A: It's against the rules for me to tell you that anywhere on Gamefaqs. Sorry. Q: Zoids Saga is better than this game since it was released on a gameboy advance, right? A: Depends on how you view it. They were both released in the same year, so how far advanced is Zoids Saga? Q: Your FAQ is listed as Hakugin. Why did GameFaqs list it as ShiroGane? A: I haven't the slightest idea. My sources tells me that Hakugin is correct. Q: What other games do you recommend for the Gameboy and Gameboy Color? A: Pokemon Games Super Mario Land 2 and above Wario Land 1 to 3 Kirby's Dreamland 2 Zelda Oracle Series Metroid 2 Rockman World 5 King of Fighters 96 Toshinden Grandia Parallel Trippers Zoids games Dragon Warrior Monsters series Donkey Kong Country ______________________________________________________________________________________________ ------- Credits ------- Thanks to Spiking Finish for his help.
