Secrets List Tips Crawling: Instead of turning all the way around to lower yourself down a ledge from a crawling position, press square at an edge, and Lara will lower herself down face forward. Sprinting: If you have to quickly get into a crawling position, press the crawl button while sprinting and Lara will roll and go straight into a crawling position. Rolling: If you fall from a high ledge, Lara will land, but it will take her a while to stand up again. To get up quickly, just press O and Lara will roll and you can be in control again. Shooting: To give an enemy a hard target to hit, jump left and right while shooting. Ladders: To lower yourself down a ladder quickly, tap X over and over again to avoid losing life, and get yourself down faster. Saving: I recommend that you have 3 save files. 1 you use at the beginning of every level, and the other 2 you alternate back and forth between saving. Inside some places, there is only 1 place you can get something, and there is only 1 time to get it. So if you were to pass right by it, save, then continue on and realize you forgot something, you may not be able to finish the level. So then you would have to start over on the entire game. If you just have more then 1 save file then you won't have to go back as far. Ropes: When you are on a rope, if you press R2, Lara will swing herself extremely far. If you are at the bottom of the rope, you will go even farther. If you jump off the rope just before it goes backwards you'll go even farther, and last but not least, if you press R2, don't jump off, then press R2 again and jump off, then you will go very far. =============================================== Rome Streets of Rome =============================================== After the movie, you take control of Lara, in the small streets of Rome. Start of by taking your first left. This takes you backstage where you can practice your skills. Just follow her instructions and follow the path. When you are inside the water section of the training, dive in and swim around. When you reach the second area, don't leave the water. Instead swim down the passageway at the bottom. The passage will take you to a Large MediPak, Normal Shotgun Ammo, and Revolver ammo. After you have these items you may exit the water once you get out to a larger area to swim. When you reach the tightrope, don't cross. Instead, lower yourself down and go into the room below. To your left, there will be a tall shelf, examine it for some flares. Also on the left, there is a smaller cabinet that you can push. Under it you'll find revolver ammo. There's another small shelf on the right side of the room that leads to Secret #1. Turn around and go back to the tightrope room. Pull yourself up, and on the large shelf to your right you can find a Small MediPak. There is nothing else to do here, but do sharpen up your moves. When you decide to leave the Backstage area, go left, then right. Kill the Doberman and you will find yourself in a 4-way intersection around the fountain. Take the right intersection and you will find a lion design on the wall. These are used just like levers. Stick your hand in its mouth, and a door will open. Turn around, and go left leaving the fountain area. Then go right. Go down the moss covered stairs here and you'll find another lion design here. Stick your hand in its mouth and tons of bats will fly out. These can't be killed so you should run around until they leave you alone. That hole/switch didn't just let out bats however; it also pushed a block out of the wall. Pull up onto the block, and then pull onto the building above it. You now have access to the upper city. Follow the passage, pass by the lounge and when see a small drop, go down. Turn right and shoot the glass to get revolver ammo. Turn around and go down the opposite passage and you'll see 2 glass windows on you're left and right and a passageway that goes straight. Shoot the glass on your right to get a Small MediPak, the go down the passage. Greet the Doberman with you pistols, and then follow the path to a lever. Pull it, and it will open a gate that leads back to the fountain (just in case). Turn around, and go all the way back to the 4-way intersection with the glass. Go right, shoot through the glass, and then hop over to the next building. First go left to get the Golden key, and then go the opposite direction to reach a small ledge. Jump off the ledge and onto the small overhang to get some flares; you can shoot the Doberman from here (although I had no luck). Use the Golden key on the locked door. Here you'll find the 1st of many encounters with Larson. My only advice to you is to keep jumping left and right, shooting like mad, till' he runs away. You can't kill him, yet. Behind you there is a small MediPak in the shadows. Turn around and go into the building that Larson was on. From here turn left to get Garden Key #1, then go the other way to have another shoot-out with Larson (How fast can he walk the tightrope?). Walk the tightrope, and then drop down into the new area. Pull the lever by the gate to have yet another way to the fountain. Turn around and go left. Follow the passage until you can take another left into a small room with revolver ammo. REMEMBER WHERE THIS ROOM IS! Leave and take another left, go up the stairs and take the REVOLVER! Turn around and take the passage on your right, open the double doors (X), and enter the room with barrels. Immediately turn left and grab the LASERSIGHT! Attach it to your revolver, and equip it. Shoot the lock on the door at the end of the passageway. This lets out rats (These can't be killed either) Take Garden Key #2 then get out of here! Return to the inter- section with a passageway in front of you and the room that leads to the fountain on your right. Go to the end of the passage, then turn left, the put in the 2 Garden Keys. Leave this area and go right into the now open gate. Walk towards the dragon heads and a cut-scene will show Larson and Pierre saying how they are going to let Lara get all the symbols, then kill her. Go behind the building, then into the passageway. Follow the path to the bell tower. Shoot the bell. Now, do you remember the room I told you to remember where it was, you know with the revolver ammo? If you don't just go near the area where the rats were and where you got the revolver, but make a left before you reach the stairs. Enter the now open gate to get surprised by a Doberman. The large shelf on your left holds a Large MediPak, the one on the right holds Secret #2. Head back to the bell tower and you will see an opening on the left side of the tower. Climb up there and SAVE. Make a standing hanging over the rat area and pull up to be bombarded by bats. Just run in circles till' they leave you alone. REMEMBER WHERE THIS ROOM IS! Reach into the lion's mouth to open the door on the bell tower. Enter the now open door and you'll see 2 stone crows, and a giant ram above you. Take the left passageway first, and pull the lever, you'll see a cut scene where the crow turns into a white stoned bird. Turn it (X), and the ram above will begin to swing. Take the other passage and enter the now open door until you reach the ram. DON'T TOUCH IT, IT WILL KILL YOU! Walk towards it, and then hang of ledge. Shimmy right from here, all the way until you can pull yourself up in a new area. Pull the lever here and the other crow will turn to a bird. Carefully lower yourself down and turn the last bird to open another door at the foot of the bell tower. DON'T ENTER IT! Instead, pull yourself up onto the wall surrounding the bell tower, then SAVE. Run along the wall towards the red roof, then jump over there, from here, you'll see a building that you can jump towards, if you land it, your prize is revolver ammo. Return to the bell tower but still DON'T ENTER THE NEWLY OPENED DOOR! Instead, remember the 2nd room I told you to remember where it was, where you opened the first Bell Room? Where you had to make that jump over the rat area? Go there and you will find a Small MediPak, and Secret #3. Now you can enter the newly opened door to get the Saturn Symbol. Begin to leave and a movie will begin witch takes you right to the Second Level. =============================================================== Rome Trajan's Markets =============================================== You'll have to go back and forth quite a bit in this level so I am going to refer to Areas. I will always refer to this area as Area #1. From the start, go left, and shoot the small box for the crowbar. Turn around and cross the street. Shoot this box to get yet another Lasersight. Run down the street and to your right you should see a metal door. Use your crowbar on it to open it. Shoot the box in her for the Small MediPak. Climb the crates and make a diagonal jump towards the window behind you (from when you pull up). Up here you'll find a Small MediPak. Jump back and cross the tightrope. Make the small hops over to the open window and pull up to be over the street. Run towards the window, jump sideways twice, then make the long running jump towards the window behind you to find Normal Shotgun Ammo. Turn around and jump back, then lower yourself into the next room. Drop all the way to the bottom and pick up the revolver ammo and the flares. Jump over to the taller platform then go into the outdoors area. This area I'll call Area #2. Lower yourself down to ground level after the cut-scene, and note the trapdoor. Then, go examine the gears. Across the street from here, next to 1 of the small gratings, there is a ladder. Climb up, turn around the corner, and then drop to be in the upper area of Area #2. Turn right and make all the jumps till' you reach a rope. Pull it 3 times then jump over all of the overhangs going the other direction also (There is a small open window you may pass, this jump is pretty difficult to make, but if you make it, you'll get Uzi Clips). When you reach the last rope, pull it and you'll open a door. Lower yourself down, then go towards that trapdoor I told you about. It should now be open, and in it you'll find Normal Shotgun Ammo, Wideshot Shotgun Ammo, and Secret #1. Climb back out and go through the now opened door. Go straight into the room and pick up the revolver ammo and the Small MediPak. Leave this room and immediately turn right. Climb up the blocks and enter the new room. Use the crowbar on the coin looking thing in this room to get a Golden Coin. This wakes up some rats so immediately leave this room and go back into the room with the statue. Use the Golden Coin on the statue to open up 2 doors. After this turn around and sprint through the now open gate back to Area #1, (the area you started off in). Turn left and enter the also now open gate. I'll refer to this area as Area #3. Follow the path and pass by the water to reach Revolver Ammo. Go into the water you passed earlier and in the water near the gate you'll find a Small MediPak. Pull out of the water, pick up the revolver ammo and equip your revolver, then SAVE! Here comes a boss. I'll refer to this area as Area #4. Enter the room and use the revolver to shoot the robot's eyes to kill him. Pretty easy. Pick up the Saturn Symbol, turn away from the next room, and behind you, behind the pillar you'll find revolver ammo. Open the trapdoor from the brown side of the wheel design and drop into the passage. This is the last area and I'll call it Area #5. Follow the path then dive into the water. Go through the crack in the wall to find a Small MediPak. Swim down towards the lower fan, and go through the small narrow crack near the top. Follow the underwater passage and at the end, you'll finally find air. Take the Normal Shotgun Ammo and use your crowbar on the wheel. Leave this area and go back to Area #4 (where you fought the 1st boss). Go into the passage in front of you and get on high ground. Jump straight up and pull yourself up onto the metal grating. Jump onto the top of the machine for Secret #2. Lower yourself down and use the wheel on the wooden stub. Turn the now fully functional wheel to turn off the lower fan. Go back to Area #5(the water and fan area). Dive into the water and go back down to the lower fan. Take the lowest passage this time and when you come to an intersection, go straight. Pull yourself out of the water and Take the Large MediPak. Go back into the water and go left this time. When you reach some more fans, go right and swim up to the surface for air. Turn the wheel in here, and then dive back into the water. Go through the right passage closest to the fan and follow the long winding passageway until finally, your out. Pick up the Normal Shotgun Shells and the SHOTGUN! Equip it, SAVE, and enter the passage to see a cut-scene showing the boss you're about to fight, a huge knight. Just side jump left and right, back and forth, avoiding him all together. Use your shotgun and if/when you run out, use your pistols, we have to save ammo. When he's dead, you'll see a door open back in Area #3(waterfalls area). Climb onto the first block and pick up the Uzi Clips and the Small MediPak. Pull yourself up and turn left to find another Small MediPak. Lower yourself down and DON'T APPROACH THE WATER! Instead go back to Area #1(Where you began). Once you exit the gate stop. Turn left, and enter the other gate to find Secret #3. Now return to Area #3(waterfalls area). Dive into the water and enter the gate. SAVE, and then pick up the Venus Symbol. Continue along the underwater passage; pull yourself up to see a cut-scene showing Lara and Larson having a conversation. After the movie, quickly pick up the Normal Shotgun Shells and the Wideshot Shotgun Shells, and then shoot at Larson with your pistols, jumping back and forth, as always. When he's dead, they will show yet another cut-scene showing the snake/dragon faces coming to life, killing Larson. After the cut-scene, sprint behind the building and pick up the Normal Shotgun Shells, Wideshot Shotgun Shells, and the Large MediPak. This your resting area, they can't get you back here. Heal, Equip your shotgun, SAVE, and then sprint out there when no fire is coming out of the overgrown bodies. Use up all of your Shotgun ammo, then your Revolver. If they're still alive after that then use your pistols. Just keep jumping around and you shouldn't get a dead-on hit with there fire. If you do get hit, there is water in the passageway to your right. When they're FINALLY dead, put the Saturn Symbol and the Venus symbol into there places, and the doors will open. Jump across the gaps (I know it looks life normal floor, but spikes pop out if there is any pressure on it at all) and a trap will carry you to the next level. =============================================================== Rome The Colosseum =============================================================== After sliding down, follow the path and look to your right for a small metal ring. If you hold X, it means it is a block, Push it to find Secret #1. Return to the path and follow it till' you reach a long narrow passageway between 2 buildings. Sprint down here until the cut-scene stops you automatically, run a little ways, make a running jump and you should make it over just in time. Hop backwards and shimmy left, and pull yourself through the small gap. Push the button, and then return to the previous area. Enter the door on your right and slide down to greet the lion with your pistols. When it's dead, push the button on the wall, and another lion will come into the room. Kill it, and enter the room it came out of, climb the ladder, turn around, and take the Gemstone Piece. Enter the newly found passage to find a crazed psychopath knight; these things are very fast so you might want to be able to flip in the air so you can kill it easier. When he's dead, enter the room he was just in for a Small MediPak. Go up the ramp in the previous room to be greeted by yet another knight. Kill it, then enter the room it was just in and push the button. Turn around and go up 2 more ramps (pass by the opening in the wall) to be greeted by yet another knight and his best friend (probably only friend) a lion. Kill them both and enter the room they were in for a Large MediPak and the UZI gun. Leave this room and enter the area you passed by earlier for a cut-scene, the SAVE. Lower yourself down to the bottom of the canyon. Go up the stairs and pull the rope 3 times. This next area is timed so you'll have to be quick (you won't even have time to hop back before doing a running jump). After you pull the rope, a bit to your right you'll find some floor that looks man-made. Make a long running jump to land on it, then a running jump over to the slanted land just after that. Make a running hanging jump onto the flat platform after that, then 1 last running jump to the land in the very center of this room. Pick up the Gemstone Piece from the cylinder table, before it lowers itself back down, making you have to start all over again. Combine the Gemstone piece with the Gemstone piece to get (well by golly) a Gemstone! Run towards the door on your right and it will open all of a sudden, and a trap will take you to another cut-scene, showing you kill Pierre (how nice of you to help me up,). From here, hop backwards so you are hanging from the ledge, then shimmy all the way to your right and pull yourself up. Climb up into the hole and you'll find yourself back in the canyon room. Make the same jumps that you made before, and when you reach the platform at the top, jump over the trapdoors into the new room to get Secret #2. Run off the edge and hang from the first slider, then let go and you'll find yourself back where you killed Pierre. Hop over towards the path you have not been down. Enter the passageway and go through the door, then SAVE. Place the Gemstone into the hole, the roll and sprint back towards the closed door, and stand there till' the floor collapses below you, having you land on a platform directly below that. Far below you there is lava, but if you're careful, you should get out of this (alive). Make a running jump towards the crack in the wall, the drop down and hang. Shimmy all the way to your left and drop down onto the floor just next to the lava. Enter the passage and pull yourself up into a long hallway. Kill the psychopathic knight and his pet, and then examine the knight's ruins to find the Colosseum Key. Use it on the door at the end of the hallway and while Lara's putting it in SAVE before the cut-scene begins. You now have to fight yet another really big knight. Use all of your ammo since this is the last enemy inside this story. Jump back and forth and avoid his attacks and you should have no problem. When he's dead, go through the now open door and take Colosseum Key #2. Use it on the door in the previous room then slide down to be dropped in front of the Philosopher's Stone, but DON'T TOUCH IT WHATEVER YOU DO! Instead make the small hops over the spikes again, crawl through the crawlspace, and take Secret #3. Now return to the Philosophers Stone and use your Crowbar on it to finish this story. ============================================== Russia The Base ============================================== You start off sliding down a long ramp and landing with quite a ruckus. Follow the wide passageway down to the boxing area. Your main enemy here is that huge crane. After the cut-scene, sprint across the room towards the closed door, your safe from the crane as long as you are under an overhang. Face away from the door and follow the right wall towards the cabinet. Open the cabinet to find a Silver Key. Turn around and sprint to the other side of the room till' you see a door with a pipe blocking it. Turn right from there and you'll be in a small closed area. To your left there should be a door. Use the Silver Key on it and enter. Go up the stairs in here and shoot the 2 men. 1 of them has a Swipe Card. Take it, and then examine the cabinet in their office. It contains an UZI gun. Leave this area and go back to the boxing room. You now have access to 2 rooms. Use the Swipe Card on the left-most one to be greeted by a Saint Bernard. When it's dead, shoot the farthest back grating that's not smoking. Enter the airshaft to get Secret #1. Leave this area and open up the 2nd door with the Swipe Card. Follow the path from there and it will take you back to the Boxing room, higher up. From here you'll have to make a series of jumps towards the other side of the boxing room. I'll explain it the best I can. Make a running jump from the spot that the gratings been ripped off towards the lower section of boxes. The crane should be after you now. Climb up onto the higher box and make a running jump towards the lower set of boxes next to the blue panel. Turn left from there and jump over to the next set of boxes (you should now be about in the middle of the room). From here, climb up onto the wooden box, and then make a running jump to the set of boxes in the corner. Climb up onto the last box and jump to the other side. Follow the path and push the red button to open the door so you can see a cool movie. After the movie search the cabinets for Uzi Clips and a Small MediPak. Push the button and follow the path back to ground level. Go through the now open door and shoot the 2 men here. Go left and follow the path outside. Here you should see a red box on wheels. Climb up onto it, then onto the red box hanging right next to it. Make a running jump towards the metal box in the corner. Climb up to find Secret #2. Lower yourself down and use the Swipe Card on the door out here. Kill the guy inside and from his ruins take the Silver Key. Go back into the boxing building and this time, go straight. Use the key on the door at the end of the path to see a cut-scene. After the movie, lower yourself down and use the Swipe Card on the door. Kill the dog in here, and then search the cabinets for Desert Eagle Clips, a Small MediPak, Uzi Clips, a Fuse, and the DESERT EAGLE gun. Enter the shower area and in the back corner there is a trapdoor. SAVE, take a big breath, and then dive in. When you come to an intersection go right. When you finally reach air, pull yourself out of the hole, and take Secret #3. Return to the shower area and press the button on the wall to open the door back into the boxing building. Keep on going straight until your outside again (2 guys are probably shooting you). Climb up on the 2 red boxes as before and shoot the 2 men on the broken windows with your Desert Eagle. When there dead, lower yourself down and enter the room you used the Swipe Card on. Use the fuse on the back of the machine to open up a door in this room. A dog will surprise you if you approach the door so kill it and press the button in this room. The red hanging box you used to get to Secret #2 will now be in a different place so yet again climb up on the first red box and jump over to the hanging one that is now over the water below. From there jump over to the submarine to end the level. ============================================================= Russia The Submarine ============================================================= After the cut-scene showing you being captured. You'll find yourself in a room with no guns at all. Go towards the drawers and you'll see that one of the handles has been ripped part way off. Take it off completely with action and head over to the damaged grating. Use the crowbar on it and enter the airshaft. Crawl along the passage and climb up the ladder. Do the same thing for the next one except that this time there will be a hole there. Lower yourself down the hole using the hidden ladder and enter the passage for Secret #1. Jump over to the wall of the pit and go al the way to the right before climbing back up the hidden ladder. When you're at the top, crawl a ways and climb up the ladder to the next shaft. You now have to do almost the same thing except that now there are wires swinging above you as you do this. Lower yourself down and shimmy left. Pull up at the first passage you see and follow the path to a trapdoor. In here you'll find a Battery (-) inside the drawer. Check the shelf next to the box for a Small MediPak. Go back into the airshaft and lower yourself down again, then shimmy right. Pull yourself out of the pit, crawl through the crawlspace, and climb up the ladder. Follow the path from there for a cut scene showing Admiral Yarofem and Sergei talking about the female spy (you). After the cut scene, continue to follow the path, lowering yourself down drops as you go, until you reach at trapdoor. SAVE HERE! Open the trapdoor and get off the stove to here some music. ONLY WALK FROM HERE! Walk behind the cook and use your crowbar on him for a cut scene showing Lara kill the man. Take the Bronze Key from him and use it on the door. In here inside the drawer you'll find your PISTOLS! Equip them and search the tall cupboard in this room for the Silver Key. Use it on the other door to enter the lounge. Kill the 2 men in here and face the T.V. Take the left passage and another man will come out. Kill him and take his Normal Shotgun Ammo. Go to the other side of the lounge and enter this passage. Go left and shoot the guy here. Turn right and you'll find a wheel door. Turn the wheel and enter the passage. Climb the ladder and enter the Cargo Room. Kill the 2 men here and explore the boxes to find your SHOTGUN on the lowest set of boxes, and an Aqualung on the upper set of boxes. From the Aqualung, make a few diagonal jumps towards the opposite corner to get a Large MediPak. Lower yourself down from here and use your crowbar on the box now in front of you (it's broken). Inside here you'll find Secret #2. Return to the Lounge and take the passage with the wheel door. Turn it and enter the passage. Turn right and shoot the man in here. Climb onto the box here and face the speaker on the wall. Jump straight up and open the trapdoor above you. Climb into the airshaft and crawl when you need to. The third time you crawl, stand up in the middle of the crawlspace and jump up. Pull yourself up and take Secret #3. Drop back down and follow the path to a trapdoor. Open it and drop into the room. A man will burst through the door so kill him and inside the drawer you'll find a Battery (+). Combine it with Battery (-) to get a Suit Battery. Exit this room from where the man entered and turn left. Go straight at the intersection and lower yourself down the ladder. Shoot the man in the next hallway and take his Wideshot Shotgun Ammo. Go straight past the wheel door and enter the Sleeping Quarters. Take the Small MediPak in here and go back to the wheel door you passed. Open it and enter. Shoot the man inside this room and climb up the ladder. Go right and open the wheel door. Shoot the man in here and take his Suit Console. Combine it with the Aqualung for a (hmmmmmmmm......) Suit Console. Continue along the previous hallway go right. Shoot the man in here, then open the wheel door on the other side of the hallway. Use the Suit Console on the torso part of the diving suit and use the Suit Battery on it also to end the level with a cut-scene. ============================================================= Russia Deepsea Dive ============================================================= You're underwater for this entire level so I'll explain it the best I can. Swim forward and go right at the intersection. Mini-subs are everywhere inside this level so be careful. One of them is this area. Avoid its torpedoes and swim to the back corner to find a passage leading to Secret #1. When you return to the first intersection there will be a strong current pushing against you, so you will get hit by the torpedoes a few times, so just make sure you have healers at hand. When you gotten past the current and are at the 1st intersection again go the opposite direction. You'll see another mini-sub that is guarding a hole in the wall to your left. Find that hole and avoid its torpedoes. You'll now see yet another mini-sub so avoid its torpedoes and swim down into the hole in the ground. Follow the path to a cut-scene showing Lara take the Spear of Testiny and as she's taking it, a bit of the ceiling falls down and punctures her oxygen tank. SAVE before you do anything else this next part is difficult. You now have to swim all the way back to the sub, here's the catch, with no oxygen. Think you can make it? I hope so cause once your reach the sub you'll end this very short level. ============================================================= Russia Sinking Submarine ============================================================= When you're back and aboard the boat, a cut-scene will begin showing the Sergei take the spear from you, causing the sub to begin to sink. Turn around and go down the passage. Lower yourself down the ladder and walk down the missile room. Shoot the guy in the next hallway and begin to examine his body to be greeted by yet another man. Kill him and take their Uzi Clips and Desert Eagle Clips. Follow the path then climb up the ladder (wouldn't this be like a waterfall right now if the boat was really sinking?), then go right towards the fire on water (really). Jump over the 2 flames and if you catch on fire just duck. After the jumps you'll see a cut-scene showing the electrical wires hit the water (uh oh). Jump across the 3 Lounge tables to avoid the electricity and when you reach the last jump SAVE! Make a running jump over to the passage in the corner. Enter the new passage and go right. Shoot the man in here and take his Swipe Card. Return to the Lounge and make the same jumps as before (including the hard one that you had to make to get to this passage). Jump over both of the flames then go right. Use the Swipe Card on the door to your left and enter. Go straight at the intersection and climb up the ladder. Go straight at the next intersection and enter the Control Room. Since you can step in the water in here, run straight across the control room to the next room to see a cut-scene showing Admiral Yarofem giving you the Silver Key. Go back into the Control Room and look to the upper left and you'll see and air shaft with wooden boards running across it some places. And 1 of the boards looks broken right? Stand on the block closest to it, jump up and shoot the board. From the block, make a standing towards the shaft. When you're in the shaft, go right. Follow the path to a trapdoor. Open it and drop into the new room. REMEMBER WHERE THIS ROOM IS! Look onto the wall and you'll see a lever that you can jump up to reach it. Stand under it and jump straight up while holding action to pull it. I should now be pitch black in this room. That means that you won't have to worry about the electricity anymore! Return to the Lounge and go to the kitchen to find Secret #1. From there go back over the 2 flames, go right, then left through the door, then right. Use the Silver Key on the door and search the cabinets in this room for a Small MediPak and an Oxygen Canister. Leave this room and shoot the 2 men inside the hallway. Take the Bronze Key from 1 of them, and then climb up the ladder. Go left from here and search this room for a Large MediPak, a Nitrogen Canister, and the DESERT EAGLE GUN! Remember that room I told you not to forget where it was? You now, through the airshaft, where you turned off the power? Go there and use the Bronze Key on the door. Search the drawer for Secret #2. Now head back to where you saw Admiral Yarofem and climb up the ladder. Put the Oxygen Canister and the Nitrogen Canister where they belong to end the level, see a cut-scene, and end this story. ============================================================ Ireland Gallows Tree ============================================================ This in my opinion the freakiest and the weirdest story of them all. From the start you'll find yourself on top of a very large cliff. Turn left and run towards the gap. Make a running jump towards the beginning of the crack in the wall. You'll land just short but luckily there is floor beneath you. Climb up onto the crack and shimmy to your left turn around the corner and let go. Make a running jump towards the slanted area and hang. Let go and you'll land on a platform not far below. Jump towards the left-most part of it and turn in the air to make a perfect landing, into a bunch of bats. Run in circles till' they leave you alone, and then pick up the Large MediPak and Secret #1. Leave the cave and get onto ground floor. Climb up onto the block here and follow the path, pulling yourself up when needed, back to the top. Jump over to the crack again, shimmy left around the corner, and jump over to the slanted section again just that this time instead of dropping, shimmy right around the corner. Let go right above the crawlspace then grab on again and pull yourself up. Follow the path to the overhang with slime on it. Use as if it was a monkey bar and swing to the other side. Go right and pick up the Large MediPak, then go the opposite direction down the ramp for a cut-scene showing a demon asking you to give it back it's petrified heart. After the cut-scene, turn around and go towards the passage back to the ramp. But instead of entering the passage, go left and run into the wall. Climb up the right wall, pull yourself up and jump backwards to reach Secret #2. Lower yourself down and if you approach the barrel, a little white guy will come out. Since you have no guns, just avoid it and go towards the crawlspace. Instead of crawling through, jump straight up and grab onto the monkey bars. Swing until you can land and ignore the bats. Follow the path and climb up. When you reach an opening, slide down backwards and hang. Pull yourself and jump backwards to land in the hut and go underwater. Follow the underwater passage and go right. Go right yet again, then left at the next intersection. When you surface, climb out and get onto the wooden patio (you may encounter rats). From the patio, make a running jump over to the slanted area and jump to the side of the house before you hit water. Crawl under the house to be in a new area. Pick up the Large MediPak in this room and take the Rubber Tube from the drawers, then drop into the water and surface to be back by the patio. Get out of the water and jump over to the other side of the lake. Chances are you'll encounter rats, so pull yourself out of the water, enter the passage and crawl through the crawlspace to be back by the demon's tree (Gallows Tree). Crawl through the crawlspace on the other side of this area, avoiding the white guy as you go. Inside the new area, go through the lower passage first and pick up the pitchfork. Combine it with the rubber tube and you'll have a catapult. Turn around and climb up onto the upper passage. Approach the blocked off area and use your catapult for a cut-scene showing Lara get rid of the blocked area. Enter this new area and pick up the Iron Clapper. Drop into the hole and pull yourself on the left towards the coffin. Take the torch here and SAVE, just in case you lose it. With torch in hand, go to the other side of the hole and you'll creepy music. Make a left into the coffin room and throw the Torch so you can get the Small MediPak in this room. Pick up the torch and go to the end of this area and drop into the hole to enter a new area. Quickly run across the breakable slabs to be greeted by bats. Go right and use the torch on the fire. Throw the Torch by the fire and continue along the path towards the spikes. Walk through them and crawl through the crawlspace to gain a Large MediPak and Secret #3. Return to your torch and pick it up. Make your first right from here and follow the path till'' your under Gallows Tree. Use the torch on it, then get rid of it, you won't need it anymore. Pick up the heart that falls from the roots to start a cut-scene showing Lara talking to Father Patrick Dunstan. He tells her to meet him at the chapel. Go down the path he went down and slide back to Gallows Tree. Return to the area with the coffins and instead of dropping into the hole, go left and put the Heart into the hole there to open the door. Enter the door to start another cut-scene showing Lara ward off the little white critters. After the cut-scene, drop into the hole and follow the path to a Large MediPak. Pick it up to awaken some bats. Ignore them and continue following the path to the end of this level. ============================================================ Ireland labyrinth ============================================================ This level is the reason I consider this story freaky. From the start, turn around and approach the door for a cut-scene showing a hooded ghoul float right past you and the wall, and examine the corner of the bench. After the cut-scene, slalom through the benches and reach the 3 buttons. Push the middle 1 first, then the 1 on the left, then the 1 on the right to start a cut-scene showing you which door is opening. After the cut-scene and turn around to see a ghost skeleton, armed with a sword. Avoid there swings the best you can and go through the know open door. Examine the corner of the bench like the ghoul did to start a cut scene showing Lara pick the object up and immediately put it down after the music. You know should have Bone Dust. Return to the 3 buttons and to the left of them you'll find a pot. Use the Bone Dust to start a weird cut-scene showing the skeletons dying. Slalom back around the benches and when you have to make a turn around the ramp DON"T! Instead, run up to the corner, jump and pull yourself up. Pull the lever, and return to the room you heard the funny music in. The door there should now be open. Enter it, and pick up the Large MediPak. If you reach into the hole you'll find Secret #1. Return to the hallway where you pulled the hidden lever and go down the slope to be surprised by bats. Run around the hole in the center of the room till' they leave you alone, and then SAVE. Lower yourself into the hole and you'll land in greenish water. Pull yourself out for yet another cut-scene showing the black ghoul float in mid air over the lava in the next room. Get ready for a maze. Go up the ramp and through the 1st passage you reach. When you reach the bridge, stop and turn left where the grating has been ripped off. Make a running hanging jump to the platform on the other side, then shimmy right until you can pull up. Turn around from there and make a running jump to the platform you see there. Follow the passage for Secret #2. Turn around and do the same thing you did to get over here to get back. Follow the bridge and pull the lever to turn the bridge to this room, and 1 other room a different direction. Go back down the bridge and follow the path to another ramp. Go up the ramp and take your first right. Follow the path to another 1 of those turning rooms, but don't pull the lever. Go down the other bridge instead and follow the path to even more ramps. Go up the ramps and take your first right. Follow the path to find the Bestiary. Taking the Bestiary will open the door out of here. Make a running jump over there and exit this room. Follow the path to a broken ramp, a Large MediPak, and a Lighting Spirit. Take the Large MediPak and jump onto the ramp next to the lighting spirit. Follow the path until you can't go up any further. SAVE! See that crack in the wall? Make a running jump over to it but instead you'll grab onto the monkey bars above. Swing towards the crack in the wall and when you're just above it, let go, then grab on again. Crawl through the gap and come across a pit. Do the same thing that you did inside The Submarine airshafts to get Secret #3. Return to the first section of the broken ramp and this time, instead of jumping towards the crack in the wall, jump to the platform to the left of it. Turn around and jump to the platform on the other side. Go up this ramp and follow the path to the end of the maze (YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO). SAVE IT IMMEDIATELY! This next part is why the call this level the Labyrinth. Luckily, the Lighting Spirit will guide you. Follow the Lighting Spirit over the jumps, avoiding the huge hog that's in here with you. Be careful cause they have drops right behind corners to surprise you. When the Spirit stops in front of the ramp to your right, slide down and enter the open coffin for a cut-scene showing you find Father Patrick Dunstan, scared till' his hair was white. After this cut-scene you'll be done with this level. ============================================================ Ireland Old Mill ============================================================ The last cut-scene continues in this level. Father Patrick Dustan is telling Lara about how she needs to stay put till' he comes back (yeah right). If you try to go past the slab in front of you, a cut-scene will begin showing a horseman nearly slice your head off. You may want to see it for fun because it is pretty cool. Go left and follow the path and at the intersection, go right to be outside. A cut-scene will take over and you will see a torch on the slanted area to your right. Make a running jump onto the rope (those white guys will be throwing stones at you by now. Ignore them), and turn around till' you face the slanted platform. Swing over to it, pick up the torch, and go back into the caves. Go straight this time and bats will come and greet you. Go right at the next intersection and throw the torch so you can get the Small MediPak. Pick up the torch again and use it on the fire. Then return to the rope. With the torch, go over to where the white guys are and throw it at em'. They won't bug you anymore. Do you see that crawlspace under the slanted area above you? Crawl through it and take Secret #1. Crawl out of here and jump over to the other side of the pit. Climb up to where the rope is and jump onto it again. This time, turn around till' you can see a really tall platform in the same corner you got Secret #1, just higher up. There should be a gate on it. Swing over there and take the crowbar from it. Lower yourself back down and yet again jump over to the rope, and this time swing all the way to the other side. If you land short of the tall platform, you'll lose a bit of life, but don't worry because there is a Large MediPak in the passage to your left. Climb onto the block that is right behind the slanted surface then SAVE! Go onto the first slanted surface facing forwards, and the second one facing backwards. Hang from the 2nd one and shimmy all the way to the left. Pull yourself up and jump backwards. Jump forwards on the next one and hang from the 1 after that. Shimmy just a little to the right of the middle, pull yourself up, and jump forwards on the next 2 platforms, hanging on the last jump. Climb up into the crawlspace, and follow the path till' you can't go any further. From there, lower yourself of the edge and shimmy left until you can crawl back up again. Follow the path from there and lower yourself into the new room. Take the Large MediPak and use the Crowbar on the rock to get chalk. Lower yourself back down from there and return to the area with the horseman. Use the chalk on the slab there for a cut-scene, showing the horseman nearly kill you, but Father Patrick Dunstan comes to the rescue, but however gets carried off by the horseman. Go down the path that the horseman went down and follow the path to another cut-scene with the Horseman and Father Dunstan talking. The horseman explains that if Lara is to turn off the running water, then Father Dunstan might be saved (demons can't cross running water) After the 2 cut-scenes, approach the wooden door and turn right. Follow the passage, jump over the water, and follow the path to a lake. You'll here some more creepy music. To your left there are 2 passages. Take the 1 closest to the lake and crawl through the crawlspace. Fire will be turned on when you enter this passage. Take the Large MediPak here, sprint through the fire, and drop into the water before to much damage is done. Pull out of the water next to the fire and pick up Secret #2. Exit this area by swimming through the 2 waterways, and then dive into the lake. Note the cage here, then swim along the left-hand side of the lake, taking the lower path at the intersection. You'll see a giant lobster circling around it's gold. When it's in its lair, swim towards the gold and pick up the silver coin. Quickly turn around and swim back towards the cage with the lobster at your heels (If the lobster catches you take the coin, or it catches you sneaking away with it, a cut-scene will begin showing Lara struggling to get away. You will then have to get air quickly and try again. You may just want to see it for fun cause it's pretty cool). Put the coin in the cage to start a cut-scene showing the lobster get caught and eaten alive by those little white dudes. After the cut-scene, get air quickly because by now you're probably out of it. Dive back under and enter the lobster's lair. Climb out and you should now be inside the windmill. Follow the path and climb up the stairs. Turn the wheel in here 6 times for another timed part. Side jump left and make a running hanging jump over to the pole looking thing on the side of the wall. Lara will grab on and swing around it. Let go of action to swing off and be on the other side. Turn around from here and make a standing diagonal jump. Crawl through the closing door and bats'll greet you. Ignore them and walk towards the slanted surface. Jump straight up onto the next platform and turn around. You'll see another 1 of those wall levers that were in the sub. Make a standing hanging jump onto it to slow down the water current partway and activate a cut-scene. Slide down the ramp, go into the water, and follow the path back to the lake. Return to the barn. Go all the way to the other side of the barn and jump into the water. Swim behind the barn and into the passage for Secret #3. Swim out on the other side and yet again go to the other side of the barn. Jump back into the water again and this time look to your left for a surface to pull up on. Follow the path through the crawl spaces, and at the end of the passage, pull yourself up and you'll be on the side of the hill. Near the barn there is another part of the hill you can stand on. Jump onto it and turn to face the roof of the barn. You can stand on the windows here and on the middle of the barn. Jump onto the first window, then to the middle of the barn. Jump towards the last window and SAVE! The next jump is difficult. Make a running jump onto the flat surface of the water wheel. Hold down the crawl button and crawl towards the bell looking thing. Let go and immediately press the jump button to lower yourself down. In here turn the wheel to start a cut-scene, and end the level and the story. ============================================== New York City The 13th Floor ============================================== After the cool movie, you'll find yourself on the 13th floor (I thought there was no such thing as the 13th floor?) with Zip telling you where to go. Don't listen to him for the time being and turn left. Shoot out the grating with your HK gun, and crawl through. Pick up the Large MediPak here and continue along the passage and Zip will talk to you about the men here with the huge suits and the lasers. Continue along the path and when you can stand up DON"T! Instead, crawl right and avoid the laser. Pick up the Large MediPak here and crawl towards the hole. When the laser is behind you, stand up and jump over the hole. From there go right into the crawlspace and drop into the room. Search the shelves for a Small MediPak, HK Ammo, and a hammer. Climb back into the airshaft and this time, shoot out the grating and go the other way. When the laser is in front of the exit, drop down and duck. Face the opening the laser is guarding. When the laser is behind you, sprint towards the opening and crawl through. Follow the path from here for Secret #1. Return to the very first intersection (for the laser and pit trap, take 1 step back before jumping over the pit, there's a glitch here that make it so you die automatically) and their will now be 2 lasers here. When the upper one is moving away from you, run forward and jump over the lower one. Climb under the upper one when it is next to the ladder and when it leaves, jump up and climb up the ladder into the passage. Zip will come back on telling you that he's searching for a way to turn the electricity around the Iris off. When you reach the locked door, SAVE! Switch your HK gun to Sniper Mode if it's not already and shoot the lock. The shaft will blow up and you'll go sliding down right in front of one of those guys with the armor and lasers. They're easy to kill. Snipe em' in the head. Climb up onto the to top section of the broken airshaft and climb into the airshaft from there to be where you were before. Drop into the hole and SAVE. From here, sprint down the airshaft to avoid the explosions going left and right. Pick up the Small MediPak and climb up the ladder. Climb up the bone looking thing here and when the laser is moving away from you, continue climbing. You will get hit but you can use the Small MediPak you got in the previous passage. When you reach the top shoot the broken section of the airshaft to your left, switch over to Rapid Mode for your HK gun, and SAVE! Climb into the airshaft and turn left. Pick up the HK gun ammo here and sprint down the airshaft. Drop down here quickly before you take to many bullets from the machine. When you land you'll be in the building and a guy will be shooting at you. Kill him and switch back to Sniper Mode. Approach the red lasers but DON"T TOUCH THEM! Instead, shoot the grating on your left and crawl through. Stand up and shoot the next one to be on the other side of the lasers. Zip will come on saying how you can get the High Level Access Card from under his nose. Walk behind the man and snipe him in the head, then take the High Level Access Card from his desk. Use it inside his office and enter the room. Take the Small MediPak and the HK ammo, then leave this room. Head back to the grating and go straight. Push the button on the wall and enter the elevator. Push the button in here to make the elevator go up. SAVE! Exit the elevator for a cut-scene showing 2 men who haven't noticed you. Snipe them both in the head, then switch to Rapid Fire Mode. Approach the 2 men's bodies and another man will approach you. Kill him, and then switch back to Sniper Mode. Use you're the High Level Access Card on the door at the other end of the room, then enter. DON"T TAKE OUT YOUR GUN! If you do, the 2 men here will sound an alarm and a huge machine gun will fire at you. Press the button on the other side of this room, then leave. Go to the other side of the hallway and enter the new room. You should now be high above the Iris. Go to the other side of the pyramid and enter the next room. DON"T TAKE OUT YOUR GUN! Push the button furthest back and take the Access Code Disk. Return to the elevator and go back to the 13th floor. Go right, then right again where the lasers used to be, and use the Access Code Disk on the computer. Crawl through the now open grating and SAVE. Slide down the pole, timing yourself with when the explosions go off, and about 3 quarters of the way down, jump into the passage for Secret #2. Drop down the rest of the way when the explosions have calmed down, down there. Crawl through the crawlspace and start to walk across the catwalk, and then Zip will come on talking about how to kill the laser-dudes. Continue along the catwalk and follow the path to an intersection. Go right and take the Small MediPak and the Cloth. SAVE! Continue along the previous passage and go down the stairs to wake up the laser dude. Snipe him and wait for another to pop up and surprise you. When they are both dead, use the High Level Access Card on the SMALL door. Enter the room with the bugs and examine the cabinets for a Large MediPak, a Small MediPak, and 2 bottles of Chloroform. This should wake up the bugs. Leave this room and combine the Cloth with the Chloroform to get a Chloroform Soaked Cloth (for what I'm not exactly sure) Use the High Level Access Card on the BIG door, and then SAVE! Run along the passage and a laser dude will pop into the passage. Snipe him and take his Iris Lab Access. Use this on the computer and SAVE! If you can manage to snipe the man in this room, then do so (I haven't been able to, he always notices me), if he notices you, a machine gun will pop out of the ceiling and fire at you (it's alright if it does). When the man's dead, SAVE! Follow the path and Zip will tell you not to kill the scientist in the next room. Disobey Zip and kill the scientist for another cut-scene showing men rush out. Leave this room and kill the 2 men in the U-shaped room, then enter the room the came out of for 2 more men to kill. When you reach the intersection, go left when the laser is on your right to get Secret #3. When the laser is on the other side, run forward and turn right into the passage. When the laser is then on your left, take the right passage and go up the ramp. Enter the room at the top and SAVE! Pull the lever then race down the ramp and enter the next room. Take the Iris before the electricity comes back on and run through the next passage to the exit. ============================================== New York Escape with the Iris ============================================== Follow the path and Zip will tell you to put down your gun. Walk over to the shelf to do so, and then continue along the path. At the intersection, go right and pick up the HK Ammo. Turn around and go the opposite direction and enter the passage (If you want to skip the next paragraph, go over to the keypad and type 8526). Enter the 3 rooms and collect Chloroform, Cloth, and a Small MediPak. Combine the cloth with the Chloroform to get a Chloroform Soaked Cloth. WALK behind the man and use the cloth for a cut-scene showing Lara kill the man. Search the 3 rooms in this area for Chloroform and the Restroom Access Card. Return to the keypad now and if you look at the Restroom Access Card you got you'll see the numbers 8526. Type that into the keypad and enter. Go into the ladies restroom first and in the middle stall you'll find a Large MediPak. Enter the men's room and above the 1st stall there is a trapdoor. Open it, and climb into the airshaft. Lower yourself down the drop, tapping X so you won't lose any life, then SAVE. Follow the path into the elevator shaft and climb down the ladder as far as you can go. Let go when you're hanging at the bottom of the ladder to find Secret #1. Jump to the flat surface and climb up the chain. Jump backward onto the platform and SAVE. You should see a pole near you, like the one inside Old Mill. Make a standing jump over to it and SAVE when you reach the other end. Make a diagonal jump onto the elevator and open the trapdoor. Drop inside and press the button to go down. SAVE! WALK over to the next elevator, there is a man in this room. Press the button to open the other elevator door and push the button in here, then SAVE. When you reach the upper floor, a laser dude and a worker will be shooting at you. Zip will be telling you to close the doors, do so, unless you want to go for 2 Large MediPaks. Run past the 2 men and take the 2 MediPaks, then go back in the elevator and close the doors. The elevator will begin a free fall, so from there, press the button again to stop the elevator from crashing at ground floor. Zip will ask if you're all right, blah blah blah. Climb out of the open trap door to be back in the elevator shaft. Jump over to the bar, and swing to the other side. Climb up the ladder and jump backward to land on another platform. SAVE! Jump over to the next bar and swing to the other side. Climb into the crawlspace and SAVE. Slide down the passage and when you reach the wider room, jump and grab onto the bar above. Swing over to the next bar when the fire's out and then to the next when the fire on the platform is out. Make a diagonal jump over to the opening back into the elevator shaft and walk across the bars (tightrope). Slide down and you'll be back in the building. Crawl through the crawlspace and another guard will greet you. Run away from him and stand in front of the aquarium. When the guard shoots it instead of you, go in and take Secret #2. Go behind the aquarium for a new area. Go up the ramp and SAVE. A sniper will be shooting at you by now. Climb the ladder on the other side of this area. Run to the other side and stand in front of the fire extinguisher (not to close) the sniper will shoot it. Enter the hole it made to get Secret #3. Push the button and lower yourself back down. SAVE! Enter the now open door and don't go down the step. Jump over it and stand in front of the aquarium so the sniper can shoot it (there were hidden fire lasers on the ground, the water cooled it down). Push the button on the wall and enter the now open room, going left at the intersection (when you push that button, a laser dude pops out through a door, if your suicidal, you can try to get the Large MediPak, although I haven't been able to yet) to activate a cut-scene showing the 2 men welding there way into the room. WALK!!!! And push the 2 buttons on the wall. Enter the room (Once you are through the door you can run again). Go through the right door and enter the new area. Enter the passage in here and pull open the trapdoor above you (If you want to skip this part, when you enter this room, the 2nd box directly in front of you is the one you need to open). Follow the path and push the button here. Go back into the previous room and open the box that has a disk-looking thing in it to get the Teleporter Disc. Leave this room and use the Teleporter Disc on the computer by the entrance. Use the Iris on the claw in the center of the room, and then drop into the hole in the corner of the room. Follow the path till' Zip calls you telling you how you need to get to a spot that you can see what the guard is typing into the keypad (If you want to skip this part, skip to the next paragraph). Use your headset and zoom in. When the guy types in the numbers, watch where he places his finger (If you couldn't tell what the combination was it was 1672). Use it on the keypad when the guy isn't wondering in the area, and enter the control room. Climb onto the right-hand side box avoiding the guard's bullets and take the Large MediPak. Climb onto the other side of the box and push the button on the wall. Sprint over to the crack in the wall and crawl through. Climb the ladder and drop into the hole to be back at the beginning of the level. Take the HK GUN and sprint across what used to be metal detector. Go left at the intersection and shoot the fire extinguisher by the closed and locked door to open it. Enter the door to end the level. ============================================== New York Red Alert! ============================================== After the movies and the cut-scene, Snipe the laser dude, then switch to Rapid Fire Mode. Run up the steps and jump to the other set of steps. Go up the 1st set of steps, and treat the 2nd as if it were a jump. The floor will fall away, making a ladder. Grab onto the ladder and climb down. Make your way into the opening and take Secret #1. Lower yourself down and make your way back up to the ladder/stairs. After the jump over the ladder, make the 2 other jumps. Face the wall and jump sideways onto the stairs. It will fall away but since you are facing sideways, you can hang off the edge. Shimmy all the way to the right, then pull up and jump backward onto the platform. Make your way back up to where the floor fell away and jump over it. Kick (action) the wall and it will crumble. Crawl through the crawlspace and follow the path till' you are back inside the building. Open the trapdoor above and climb up. Kill the man and switch to Snipe Mode. Zip will tell you to use your headset in red mode. Do so and you will see lasers lining across the passageway with the white lines. DON'T GO OVER THERE YET! Take the Grappling Gun Ammo and the HK Gun Ammo on the crates, then snipe the valve so you can see where the lasers are without having to switch to red mode. Switch to Rapid Fire Mode, then SAVE. Time yourself when you try to get past the lasers. The lasers go off for 2 seconds, then back on, then off for 6 seconds, then back on. Hopefully, with the help of that valve, and the white lines on the floor, you can make it to the other side without to much trouble. Search the crates for a Large MediPak. Approach the elevator and a man will come out. Kill him and enter the elevator. Go up and shoot the man on the next floor, then switch to Snipe Mode. SAVE. Enter the door that is blue and take the ammo from the shelf. Push the button and take out your gun for some target practice. If you are fast enough, the door next to you will open and the top light should light up. If you are to slow, load from where you saved and try again. When you manage to do it fast enough, SAVE. Enter the opposite room and you shall be locked in (Uh-Oh). Take the ammo from the shelf and push the button once again and shoot the targets that pop up at random. You may not now this but right now your life is on the line. If you manage to shoot all the targets that pop up EXTREMELY quickly, then the door will open and you will be set free. If you don't succeed, poisonous gas will enter the room and you shall be locked in. This is extremely hard to win but if you can do it, leave this room and go left at the intersection for HK ammo and Secret #2. From Secret #2, switch to Rapid Fire Mode, and SAVE. Take the passage on the opposite side of this room and take the HK ammo from the floor and the GRAPPLING GUN from the wall. Taking the Grappling Gun will cause a man to some in and surprise you. Kill him and if you try to exit you will find yourself locked in. Switch to Sniper Mode and examine the shelf by the only un-locked door and pick up the Grappling Gun Ammo you find there. Enter the room and kill the man here. When he's dead, search the really tall box for HK gun ammo. Equip you Grappling Gun and shoot the grating high above. A rope will be lowered down. Get on the box directly in front of it and swing across to the other side. Shimmy right over to the opening and pull up. Equip your HK gun and SAVE. Slide down the ramp and snipe the 2 laser dudes you find here. When they're dead, switch back to Rapid Fire Mode and go down the elevator. Follow the path and kill the man that jumps out from behind the wall. Change to Sniper Mode and return to where the floor was falling away beneath you (I know it's a pain having to go through the lasers again but there's no other way). Shoot the grating above you and another rope will be lowered down. Swing across to the other side and just before you reach the fire, jump up and grab hold of the ledge. Crawl through the crawlspace till' you reach a place where you can drop. SAVE! Face the right hand corner of the crawlspace and press the jump button to go down facing forwards. If you did this correctly, you should be on a pink box right now. Snipe the man in the head from here switch to Rapid Fire Mode. Lower yourself down, pull the lever and take the Large MediPak in front of the door. Enter the elevator in this next hallway and SAVE. Push the button and exit the elevator. When the glass above you breaks, side jump to your left, then when it hits the ground, side jump to your right to avoid the next set of glass. Shoot the 2 men here and when there dead, use the rope that they were swinging on to get onto the pink boxes. From there, open the trapdoor above you and shoot the man at ground floor that pops out of nowhere, then shoot the man on the upper floor. Climb into the newly opened area and go towards the button and a trap will carry you off to a new section. Follow the path, being careful not to touch the lasers, and crawl through the crawlspace. Climb up the ladder and SAVE. Lower yourself down and climb onto the pink box. Take the HK gun ammo and shoot valve in the corner. Shoot the android from the pink box until it's leg begins to spark up. When he's dead, sadly, you can't touch the water. SAVE and make a running jump over to the ramp in the corner and jump backwards, forwards, then backwards to land on a high ledge. Take the Grappling Gun Ammo and equip it. Shoot the grating above for a rope to be let down. SAVE. Swing across to the other side and pull the lever. Make a running jump all the way back to the other side and over to the ramps. Let yourself down by the ramps to avoid taking any damage, and take the Large MediPak and the Key Bit (Left). Return to the lever and pull it and the water will appear again. Jump back over to the top part of the airshaft and hang from the edge. Let go and grab onto the airshaft, and pull yourself up. Go back down the ladder and crawl through the crawlspace back to the laser area, but the area you now have access to. SAVE. When you enter this hallway, a helicopter from outside will begin to fire at you. When you reach an explosive, jump when you reach it to have it explode, but not you. When you are inside the next room, SAVE again and make sure that all the explosives are destroyed. Enter the next room and the helicopter will start firing at you again. Sprint behind the counter in the back of the room, and crawl towards the lever. Pull it, and then SAVE. Zip will come on, but just before he tells you were the exits are, the line is broken. Return to the lobby like room to be greeted by another one of those non-killable machines. Sprint past it and enter the hallway with the explosives. Inside 3 of the holes you'll find a Large MediPak. When you are at the other side of the hallway, go right. Follow the path to an intersection. Go left and when you see the android run by, pull the lever. Return to the intersection and go left. This takes you back to the intersection with the lasers. SAVE! Enter the poison gas zone and crawl when you are at a low ground level (Sprint when you are at a high one). Follow the path and when you reach a lever, pull it. Inside this room, search the corner for a crawlspace that contains Secret #3. Leave this room and if you have the ammo, stand up and kill the 2 gas masked men here. If you don't have the ammo then sprint along the path instead of crawling until you have out ran them. After you leaver the room with the 2 men, go right and follow the path here. Pull the lever in the next room for the poison to be switched over to the room with the android, eventually killing him. When it does, pull the lever again and return to where the android was. Take his Key Bit (Right) and combine it with Key Bit (Left) to get a Helipad Access Key. Pass by the helicopter again and go back to the laser section. Follow the path all the way back to where the trap first took you to this god-forsaken place. Climb up the ladder on the wall, and follow the path back to the room where the glass fell away. You'll here Zip telling you how you and him will have to keep in touch. Here there will now be Secret #3. Trajan's Market: Secret #1: After you pull both the ropes and start up the gears, go back to where you entered this area and a trapdoor will be open. In it you'll find Secret #1. Secret #2: After you kill the metal octopus, go into the room he was guarding and climb onto the metal platform above. Jump onto the machine and take Secret #2. Secret #3: After you kill the knight boss, return to the area you started this level in, and inside the now open door you'll find Secret #3. Secret #2: After the cut-scene where you kill Pierre, return to the timed puzzle area through the open door, and get to the top area. Enter the room like you did before, jump over the trapdoor and take Secret #2. Secret #3: At the end of the level, instead of picking up the Philosophers Stone, jump over to the other side of the room and crawl through the crawlspace for Secret #3. Russia The Base: Secret #1: Inside the boxing area, use the Swipe Card on the left-most door and kill the dog that greets you. Shoot the farthest back grating that's not smoking for Secret #1. Secret #2: When you first go outside, climb onto the 2 red boxes and jump over to the metal box in the corner to find Secret #2. Secret #3: In the shower area, open the hidden trapdoor in the back corner of the water and follow the underwater passage. Go right at the intersection for Secret #3. The Submarine: Secret #1: In the air shaft, the first time you have to lower yourself down and shimmy to the other side, you can climb down the invisible ladder here and enter the passage for Secret #1. Secret #2: Inside the cargo space, use your Crowbar on the cracked box right of the entrance and enter the box for Secret #2. Secret #3: The 1st time you enter the airshaft through a trapdoor, In the 2nd crawlspace that you can stand up in, climb up for Secret #3. Deepsea Dive: Secret #1: At the very 1st intersection of this level, go right. A mini-sub will be after you. Search at the sea bottom in back corner of this area for a passage that contains Secret #1. Sinking Submarine: Secret #1: When you turn off the power to the ship, go back to the kitchen and take Secret #1 from the floor. Secret #2: After you get the Oxygen Canister from the conference room and leave, shoot the 2 men you find here and kill them. 1 of them will have a Bronze Key. Return to the room that you turned off the power in and use the Bronze Key on the door to find Secret #2. Ireland Gallows tree Secret #1: After you make a running jump to the crack in the wall and shimmy left, jump onto the ramp and hang. Let go and you'll land on a small platform. Jump into the cave, turning in mid-air to get Secret #1. Secret #2: Right from where you entered the area with the hanged demon, climb onto the slanted platform and pull yourself up. Jump backwards and you'll land on a platform with Secret #2. Secret #3: Inside the crypt area with the breakable slabs, run over them and turn right. Follow the path to find a bunch of spikes. Drop the torch temporarily and WALK through them. Crawl through the crawlspace for Secret #3. labyrinth Secret #1: After you open the door using the Bone Dust, enter the passageway and climb onto the platform before the ramp. Pull the lever and return to the cathedral area where you got the Bone Dust. Enter the now open room and reach into the hole for Secret #1. Secret #2: At the first lava area when you're standing on the bridge, look to your left. You should see a crack in the wall you can jump over to. Shimmy right from there and pull yourself up when you can. Jump onto the platform on the other side and take Secret #2. Secret #3: When you first meet the Lighting Spirit and are on the first part of the ramp, jump over to the crack in the wall. You'll grab onto the monkey bars just in front of them. Swing over to the crack and let go when you are above it. Grab on again and crawl into the crawlspace. Avoid the spikes just like you did inside the airshafts of the submarine and take Secret #3. Old mill Secret #1: At the large pit with the rope over it, go over to where the imps are. Crawl through the crawlspace you'll find there to find Secret #1. Secret #2: At the windmill area by the lake, you'll find 2 caves. Enter the 1 closest to the lake and crawl through the crawlspace. Take the Large MediPak and Sprint through the fire. Sprint into the water to avoid being burnt alive and climb out next to the fire to get Secret #2. Secret #3: After you slow down the water at the windmill, swim behind the horseman's house and enter the passage. You'll find Secret #3 here. New York The 13th Floor Secret #1: At the beginning of the level, turn left. Shoot out the grating with your HK gun, and crawl through. Pick up the Large MediPak here and continue along the passage and Zip will talk to you about the men here with the huge suits and the lasers. Continue along the path and when you can stand up DON"T! Turn left and go towards the hole. When the laser is behind you, stand up and jump over the hole. Shoot out the grating on your left and crawl through the crawlspace. When the laser is on you're in front of the exit, drop down and duck. Face the opening the laser is guarding. When the laser is behind you, sprint towards the opening and crawl through. Follow the path from here for Secret #1. Secret #2: When you are sliding down the pole with explosions going left and right, about 3 quarters of the way down, jump backwards into the airshaft and take Secret #2. Secret #3: Follow the path and Zip will tell you not to kill the scientist in the next room. Disobey Zip and kill the scientist for another cut-scene showing men rush out. Leave this room and kill the 2 men in the U-shaped room, then enter the room the came out of for 2 more men to kill. When you reach the intersection, go left when the laser is on your right to get Secret #3. When the laser is on the other side, run forward and turn right into the passage. When the laser is then on your left, take the right passage and exit. Escape with the Iris Secret #1: When you are first inside the elevator shaft and climbing on the ladder, go all the way to the bottom so your feet aren't touching. Let go and enter the passage for Secret #1. Secret #2: When you are finally out of the elevator shaft after the crash, run towards the aquarium and let the man shoot the aquarium. Enter and take Secret #2. Secret #3: When the sniper is shooting at you next to the button, stand in front of the fire extinguisher (not to close) and let the sniper shoot it. Enter the hole it makes for Secret #3. Red Alert! Secret #1: The first time the stairs fall beneath you, use the stairs like a ladder. Enter the passage and take Secret #1. Secret #2: This is easily the hardest secret in the game .At the shooting practice area, push the button and take out your gun for some target practice. If you are fast enough, the door next to you will open and the top light should light up. If you are to slow, load from where you saved and try again. When you manage to do it fast enough, SAVE. Enter the opposite room and you shall be locked in (Uh-Oh). Take the ammo from the shelf and push the button once again and shoot the targets that pop up at random. You may not now this but right now your life is on the line. If you manage to shoot all the targets that pop up EXTREMELY quickly, then the door will open and you will be set free. If you don't succeed, poisonous gas will enter the room and you shall be locked in. This is extremely hard to win but if you can do it, leave this room and go left at the intersection for and Secret #2. Secret #3: Inside the poisonous gas area where you pull the 1st lever, enter the crawlspace in the corner for Secret #3. 1
